Restaurant caught in the flow of the river! Eat under the cascade of water dripping down the windows to a catch pond of koi fish. Bring your camera! The food is deliciously city cooked. The wait staff is delightful.

Our party of 4 all had steaks (ribeye, filet, sirloin) and they were "melt in your mouth" delicious! Our service was good (although you need to arrive early because they don't take reservations) and the food choices were extensive. The "rain" on the roof was...a real treat. We have eaten here before and recommended it to friends. This is one place when visiting Gatlinburg that you should not miss!More

COVID has attached so many restaurants and unfortunately, this was one of them, so keep that in mind. The website and the fact that it was close to the "Buckhorn Inn" where we stayed was my reasoning for choosing this restaurant. The New York Strip...was not the best steak I've had in recent years but it is the equivalent to a Texas Roadhouse or Outback but not one of your nicer steak houses. My wife had the Salmon but she did not finish it due to an off taste. The decor was vintage backwoods cabin Gatlinburg which is comfortable. There was a full bar and TVs on the far was so it should have been a local watering hole for the local community but there were not many there. It had a nice stream view outback. When we came in a small group of 5 was waiting on getting a table, remember I said that there weren't many people there. After five minutes I asked if they knew where the hostess was and they said she was cleaning off their table and said it would only take a minute, that was 15 minutes ago, five minutes later she appeared to seat them and take our name down. She also said she would be back in a minute to seat us and 10 minutes later she appeared...lol. To shorten this, this same woman was the hostess and waitress due to the shortage of workers in the restaurant. She was managing three tables while watching the front door. My tip was large for her and she is in our prayers today. The place looked unkept and the food was not that appealing, as we left we saw the Gold Fish and Carp in the front pond with the tree of half-lit lights. They must be something in their heyday but this was not it.More

Our return visit July 2022 was on a weekday afternoon. My opinion about this visit/ dinner is nothing like my first review in 2018. I will list the “good” first and then proceed into the “bad & ugly.” The good : Parking is easy and...away from the Gatlinburg hustle. Very polite and prompt waiter. Nice creekside views. My husband said the salmon dinner was good. The house salads were good. Prices seem to be comparable to other eat-in restaurants. The bad & ugly: Tabletops were covered with black sheet vinyl and stapled in place. Some parts were loose and hung down. Our drinks “sweat” and left so much water on the table that you had to wipe with your napkin periodically. No coasters or extra napkins were given. The floor vent next to our table was compressed about two inches into the register hole and very dirty looking. (The chairs are on rollers and evidently diners had rolled many times over that vent). The silverware was very lightweight and bendable, almost like they were cut from thin sheet metal. They were also spotty. The salads were in soup bowls and this made it difficult to eat them. Also, no dinner rolls this time, no music, and trout is no longer on the menu. Regarding the chicken dinner: I have cooked many meals from scratch (not boxed, not frozen, not a mix) so I may be a bit pickier when it comes to a meal. The chicken in my chicken dinner reminded me of frozen precooked chicken breasts (bought in a supermarket) re-heated and then glorified with toppings. Not impressed. Overall Opinion: Location is good. Better cleanliness, upscale updating and offering truly home cooked meals would make this restaurant exceptional.More

Perfect spot for small wedding reception! I had a small group of 12 for a wedding nearby and crystelle creek was a wonderful place for fabulous food. They let me decorate the day before and bring in outside cakes. They even had decor available that...I could use if I wanted. They even had gold cloth napkins and new white tablecloths for the tables. I just love how it turned out. The server was very polite and efficient I believe his name was John. It was $250 to rent the space for 2 hours. Everyone was friendly and helpful to the stressed out bride. You will need to clean up your decor after you finish your time slot. They have a table to use for cakes and a table to use for cards/gifts. The space was private and I would pick it again and again for a gatlinburg wedding. They accommodate larger groups as well I just had a tiny wedding. Steaks were delish. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Blackberry salad dressing was delish.More

We stopped here for dinner because it was away from the busy area of Gatlinburg and we were not disappointed! We were seated promptly near a window with a beautiful view of the creek and mountainside. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable about the menu...assisting us in our dinner decisions. Moments after we ordered to our surprise a black bear took a stroll down the creek!! The food was delivered quickly, hot and tasted great!! Well worth the money as we had plenty for leftovers the next day. If you visit Gatlinburg it’s worth the short drive to beat the crowds and enjoy the food!!More

We were visiting the area for 6 days, bread my in a cabin in the woods. Searched for a restaurant near our cabin without havIng to go into The craziness of Downtown Gatlinburg. Crystelle creek came up so we tried it. So glad we did!! Fantastic...Memphis ribs, awesome blackberry vinaigrette for the salads, prime rib was delicious! Out of the 6 nights we were there we ate there 4 of those nights! Each time we had a different waitress or waiter and all did an exceptional job and each remembered us the next time we came in. This is a top notch restaurant where every meal was awesome! Memphis ribs, prime rib, smoked chicken, sweet potato fries, green beans with onions and bacon, shrimp, Chicago filet so tender it melts in your mouth and THE best chicken parm I've ever had (and I've had ALOT). Don't miss trying this restaurant out!More

We came for supper and sat creek side. We started with Shrimp Cocktail. Large delicious shrimp! I ordered the ribs with Mack n cheese, and a salad with a home made black raspberry vinaigrette. My Mom ordered the Chicken broccoli Alfredo pasta with a salad. OMG,...the Ribs were Awesome! Melt in your mouth and the bbq sauce was sweet yet had a nice heat. The Chicken pasta dish was HUGE! Lots of chicken and large broccoli florets. The Alfredo sauce was a bit thin and should be thickened up but was very tasty. We plan on coming back for sure!More

Was glad to see this restaurant was open again, but disappointed too. Seems its been neglected, and it shows. I'm sure years ago it was gorgeous. We waited about 45 mins for a table, they weren't busy, but short staffed, as is everywhere. Our server...was nice, but he was only 1 of 3 that we saw. The menu had good choices, but they were out of a few things. We had shrimp, fish, & prime ribs. It was all good, but not great. Baked potatoes were the biggest potatoes I've ever seen! Hope they can get more staff back. It could be such a beautiful place.More

Nice ambiance, great server, not fresh food. We were hoping to get some fresh food, but it was not to be. Pretty much everything seemed to come out of a can or bag here. One of us and a salad & the other pasta. Much...of the salad was clearly store bought. The pasta sauce was runny & the meatballs, while cooked perfectly, had 0 taste. It is a beautiful location, nice people, and has attentive servers. We didn’t try their steaks which was too bad.More
