.We ate here on the recommendation of a local. The menu offered local dishes, with interesting appetizers. We ordered all of the appetizers for the table and enjoyed them with drinks. A great place for dinners or snacks. The service was a little slow, but we were in no hurry, so it worked for us.

My family and I stopped here for lunch during our stay in Grand Marais. The service was great. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes before being seated but the hostess invited us to the bar and gave us menus to look over. The time passed quickly. We were seated by the window and it was a great spot with... More

Stopped here for the first time in March had a great meal, menu is a little different but the food is great, side with my burger was popcorn, wasn't too sure about it but it worked. Liked the food so much came back for Dinner and it did not disappoint. Again the menu is different but all of the food... More

We stopped here for lunch and were directed to sit at the bar while waiting for a table to be available. The waitress at the bar seemed put out that we did not order drinks while waiting, though we explained that we would be hiking later and didn't care to have alcohol. . Additional waitresses were curt and unfriendly. However,... More

This quaint town has quite a few highly reviewed restaurants so it was difficult to chose where to go for our one dinner there. We were extremely happy with choice to come here! The food offerings were unique and delicious. The braised pork belly and watermelon started was absolutely great. My main - the Amish chicken was full of flavor... More

We have visited the Crooked Spoon several times and as usual it was a tasty delight again this time. The Hangar steak was done perfect and everything was served piping hot. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic despite the non stop flow of patrons!

Slightly out of the ordinary and well worth the visit. The dark chocolate pudding with cherries is outstanding.

Stopped for lunch. Both of us had a burger - we ordered without bun which was wise because the burger was huge and filling by itself. Loved the side of the rosemary popcorn. The place was busy but wait staff was friendly and service was fast. Food was pretty good but nothing to brag about.

You can find a fun meal with original combinations of flavors. Great wine and great food. Highly recommend the chorizo sliders. Best referral was seeing folks that own another restaurant in town having their lunch one table over.

We came for dinner and all of us enjoyed our food - from soups to salads to burgers, etc. But, at our table, we ordered 3 of the warm rhubarb crisp served with vanilla ice cream. They were GREAT!!!!!!! A neighboring table whined that it was a bit too tart, but that's the nature of rhubarb. It was warm and... More
