Tried this Restaurant multiple times since its opening, including hosting dinners for large groups. THE NOISE LEVEL IS UNBELIEVABLE which makes conversations impossible. The Service is depends solely on getting the one member of the wait staff who is gracious and pleasant since the management is not. It is definitely dependent on the tourist trade and its position on main... More

We ventured north to Grand Marais in search of a great gluten-free dinner. The Crooked Spoon Café was wonderful! All entree items (except the handcrafted pasta dish) were gf and most could also be made dairy free! I was in heaven eating local delicious food made with lots of love. I even had a gf df rhubarb crisp for dessert.... More

We waited outside the crowded, stuffy, warm restaurant for 45 minutes until our table was ready. The French onion soup was good, but $8.50 is kinda steep. The sweet potato gnocchi was fine. The tagliatelle needed salt or some seasoning. The pork chop was tough. Grand Marais was so so crowded - kinda unpleasant being there to dine cuz every... More

Our favorite, therapies Place closed down, so we tried this. My husband loved the porkchop! I prefer local fish. It was good, but not great. Cornmeal breadding is not my favorite.

My boyfriend had the hangar steak and I had the chicken. Both were beautifully presented, with unique flavors, and overall tremendous appeal. We brought our own wine bottle in and they handled the corking with no trouble.

This is my second time at this nice little Bistro. It was packed and quite stuffy inside but the food made it worth it. Grand Marais is such a great little town on the North Shore of our beautiful Lake Superior. We started with the mussels as appetizer and they were fresh and lovely in a lemon butter wash. Then... Talk about a very busy place. But you can see why after you've eaten here. The food is very good. The beef taco soup is very tasty and very thick. Highly recommend the pickerel fingers. Lightly breaded and a good helping of them. Very nice view of Lake Superior and Grand Marais.

Very interesting pairings here. They take standard lunch and do at least one or more creative things with it. There's a puff pastry French onion soup that's not to be missed. My friend enjoyed her goat and poutine and had the BLT. The bacon was nicely flavored and the bread scrumptious . Spicy coleslaw was divine. How often can you... More

This little restaurant in downtown Grand Marais is anchored by a very fine chef, creative without trying too hard, with a habit of using fresh and local ingredients when possible. Fine food, fairly priced.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge, the seasoning of the meatloaf was so good no condiments were needed. From what I could see everyone was enjoying their meals
