We arrived in Grand Marais after dinnertime famished and swung by this place and we weren't disappointed despite having limited options. My companion ordered the zesty chicken and black bean soup with flatbread that was excellent. I had an enchilada-tyype dish that was good as...well. My company said the highlight for her was the warm rhubarb crumble with ice cream.More

Great food and good service! Had to wait approx 45 min for a table, but this is largely because of covid and operating at 50% capacity. We both ordered the steak with drunken mushrooms and mashed potatoes... Amazing!!

Out of 4 dishes, we liked 2 of them. My son's pb & j sandwich was good (hard to mess that up), but my daughter's cheese pizza was not. It looked good, but the sauce was not good. She didn't eat much, & I tried...it and wouldn't have eaten it either. The orange slices that came with their meals was from a very old orange & sad looking. My husband's fajitas were fine, but my ziti pasta was missing sauce. The food, other than the kid's menu, was fairly expensive as well. Our server was very quick and attentive. They have a decent sized space, but they sectioned most of it off, so they only have about7 tables available, so we waited for about 15 minutes to eat at 2pm (granted, during MEA) on a Friday afternoon.More

When I called this restaurant, the message said that they did not take reservations. When we arrived at this restaurant, we were told it would be a 45 minute wait at least. And then the people behind us came up and sat down, because they...had a reservation. This is not a good way to do restaurant business.More

One of the only restaurants open so thankful for that plus they have seating outside. We had the Bangers and Mashed it delicious and Burger #1 with jalapeño bacon was pretty good

Waited 45 minutes for food and received nothing.... There is a lovely Dairy Queen RIGHT around the corner, received my order in 5 minutes. YOUR CHOICE

Tried to eat here on our recent visit. Put our name of the wait list and waited about 20 minutes (still no table at this point). An employee came out and announced that the kitchen was out of almost everything and no more customers would...be accepted. So we left hungry. I can see running out of a particular item but almost everything?! Wonder what they were going to serve the next day.More

Take a break from eating under tents and on benches by heading up the long set of steps to the Rooftop at Gunflint! Excellent selection of libations and plenty of food items to fill a rumbling tummy! Staff is very friendly and safety-conscious--they wear PPE,...request that everyone use hand sanitizer and even get a name & phone #, in case they need to contact a person who may have been exposed to the dreaded virus! Great spot to chill out at on a Summer afternoon or evening!More

This place has amazing food! And is right on the shore front. I didn't get a chance to eat inside or outside under the tent for that matter due to Covid. I ordered to go and my brother ordered a cup of soup. It cost...him $8. Insane. The cup was about the size of a cup. All the other food was priced averagely. The Rueben was one of the best I've ever had and I feel as if I know Ruebens pretty well.More
