Have been to the Gunflint many times & have never been disappointed. They have such a varied menu & everything is wonderful. They also have local musicians for entertainment.

We come to the Gunflint area every fall & always stop here for drinks & food. Had several drinks here & the beer is always good. This year tried the mushrooms & they were huge. Loved the horseradish sauce that came with them. Have had the Brad pudding with pumpkin sauce in past years & it was amazing. Always very... More

Food was average at best and way overpriced. I had the veggie burger which was very sloppy to eat, and had the blue corn chips, which were ruined by some sort of gross queso that was poured all over them. Staff was friendly.

Not only do they have a very friendly staff but can enjoy a great craft beer, as you are entertained by Dick the bartender, he has a great sense of humor and sure to give you a laugh or two. This place is on the Main Street in Grand Marais rated number 16 in the states as places to visit,... More

This is must stop for us when we are in Grand Marais. So many wonderful menu options. The Carol Sandwich is a sure thing. But there so many other yummy foods. Servers and bartenders are always upbeat and friendly.

We shared and enjoyed the lemon chicken gyro and the Carol. Loved the food. They were understaffed but our young waitress handled like a trooper. Wonderful service!

There were at least three empty tables and the bar was full when we arrived. The hostess was running around trying to figure out what to do (who to put where, frantically trying to call people and/or find people that were on waiting list). We were told there would be an hour wait. (They take names and phone numbers...clearly it... More

We stopped in for dinner and were promptly seated. My husband ordered the in-house beer sampler. As usual, he liked some but not all. We both had very good and huge sandwiches. We would stop by again!

We had an early dinner here midweek before driving back to Bluefin after a day of hiking. It has an extensive beer menu with some wine options but no liquor. We ordered some chips with our drinks, and they seemed to be house-made blue corn chips with an aioli drizzle, which was very tasty. We ordered the Asian rice and... More
