Wide variety of menu items. Everyone can find something. Seemingly specializing and fried foods. Nice lightly crusted onion rings. Some foods on the interesting/odd side and a few endorsed by Andrew Zimmern. I tried the goober burger and it is much like other peanut butter...burgers I have had; the mayo did not add much flavor contrast in my opinion, more intrigue than anything. Good and attentive service. Limited parking. Do not take reservations but do offer take out.More

We had lunch here during covid time. Easy to social distance. Staff and customers wore masks when not eating! Impressed by the way they followed covid rules. We will definitely go back!

Was craving a burger but not feeling comfortable to eat inside during COVID. Ordered online. Food was ready for pick up when promised. Excellent burgers and sweet potato fries

Stopped with my wife and son after hiking some of the trails on Pincushion Mountain. The food and service were superb! That may sound over the top when talking about a bacon cheeseburger (which I had) or a BLT (which my wife had) or Poutine...(which my son had) but superb is accurate. The service was also superb! We were seated quickly, received our drinks promptly and had our order taken and did not have to wait long for a delicious meal to be served.More

We ordered food to take out twice when we stayed in Grand Marais. It was at a very convenient location. Our order was ready quickly. The food was family style. We had pizza and fish/chips, both were fine.

Have eaten here before and had a great experience so we were surprised when we ate here this past weekend and were greeted with attitude. We understand that you are juggling many new things due to covid. But from the moment we walked in the...door, we were greeted with a blank stare. When we asked this person if she was the one to check in with, the response we got was “ I need to get through here, the other person is someplace around here” and she walked past us. We waited for approx 5 min, which we were fine with, and then the same lady came back and added our name and phone number to the list. We were told “it won’t be long at all”. We went out on the front porch and waited, waited, waited, and waited. People that checked in after us were being seated, we attributed it to them waiting in their cars. After approx 45 minutes of waiting, we went in and asked if we had been skipped. The man asked what party we were and we told him. He then said we have tried to contact you 3 times so we moved on. I looked at him, then my husband, and said “my phone never rang, we have been sitting outside on the porch waiting”. We checked what number the previous lady entered and the area code was incorrect, reason we were not receiving notifications. We waited another 5-10 minutes to be seated. No apologies, nothing. Kind of upsetting. I would suggest calling out names if people are waiting on front porch for their table. Otherwise food was great.More

Sorry but I just don't get it. After seeing review and even a TV food network visit- I don't get it. Maybe its that there is not a lot in Grand Marais in terms of restaurant choices . $15 for a pretty ordinary Juicy Lucy...platter, and a forgettable thin crust pizza is not stardom material.More

My husband and I enjoyed supper at My Sister’s Place on a recent trip. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with kitschy North Shore memorabilia on the walls. The staff ran smoothly as a well-run team. The coleslaw was standard-rate; I suggest upgrading to the...homemade onion rings. The bison burger with the Bacon Brie toppings was very satisfying: a delightful combination of savory, spicy, and sweet. The bacon had a very distinct smokiness that reminded me of a wood-burning stove. My hubby’s review of the Granny Burger was “unique” but didn’t make him want to order it again. With the wide selection of food choices and attentive staff, I would love to visit this place again.More

Really happy we stopped here. Very good food and service. Excellent menu selection. We had tried other places in Grand Marais the last two days, this was easily the best experience so far.

Grand Marais is extremely busy this time of year so I would imagine there would be some waiting time to get in, but they do have a lot of seating so maybe it won't be to long. You could call them at (218) 387-1915 to check... More

I am not sure either, you could probably go on their website see if they have an email or facebook page and ask them the question.
