This is a place that is very colorful and has a great view of the adjacent landscape near Lake Superior. We stopped to eat dinner at the restaurant and it was not was I was expecting. The coffee was below average, the rib eye steak was overcooked, the appetizers were tiny, and the overall meal was below average in flavor... More

It has been about three years since we have been to Naniboujou. The Sunday Brunch was $21. At first I thought that was a little high, but the four of us left saying it was well worth the price. We loved the planked salmon, bread pudding, thick sliced bacon, quiche, potatoes mini-waffles and other delights. The wait staff was very... More

The food in the restaurant is wonderful. A large variety of choices, all very nicely done. The Sunday morning buffet is not to be missed. HIGHLY recommended

The wait staff is professional and prompt. The food is excellent in taste and the portions fair in size. Cost is good for the meal and ambiance. Beautiful views of Lake Superior.

We stopped here for breakfast on a Friday morning and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had been anticipating this visit as part of our vacation to the North Shore and it certainly did NOT disappoint. The dining room is large and the huge lake rock fireplace and vibrant Cree-inspired decorations are captivating! Our server was friendly and efficient, and our food... More

We stopped for lunch on our way to Grand Portage National Monument. My mom and I shared the grilled Turkey and Swiss sandwich. It was the delicious, but the best part was dessert. The peach cobbler was fantastic. Our server was attentive to our needs. The decor of the dining room is bright and beautiful.

We had lunch here -- club sandwich and chicken salad, both delicious. The highlight, though, was the Naniboujou itself and its incredible dining room. Excellent service also.

Had breakfast on 16Aug16. Very nice! Blueberry wild rice sausages were especially tasty and large. Would stop here again for a meal. Have eaten here in the past and always enjoyed the food. Also, the server was very personable.

We wanted to stay here but they were full so we had lunch instead. I had the dream catch walleye sandwich and it was excellent. My wife had the chicken salad and it was very good without being heavy. I tried Babes beans which were also a good change of pace from potatoes in all their many formats. The dining... More

another one of those places that I just need to have something at. The colorfilled walls and ceiling is workth the north miles up the shore. French onion soup was delicious and a must have. A bit slow on service, but plenty to see and watch while we waited
