Burger Stop

Stopped here when visiting Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend. Family owned business is no frills but offers a great selection of delicious burgers off the BBQ. The fries and onion rings were both delicious, perfectly crispy and not overly greasy. Recommend if in the area.

Great place for fast food

The advertisement said they had steaks and other items, but when we got there, they only had Burgers and fast food items. We ordered burgers and they were Great! We also ordered fries and onion rings. They, too, were very good, If you like fast, good food then this is the place for you. You order your food up front, they give you a number and the food is delivered to your booth. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They offer beer and wine.

great burger with variety of toppings salads and cold subs. What else could you ask for outside dining available for those who like outside atmosphere. Service friendly and fast. Also if you would like a special burger just ask cashier when she takes your order. I will diffently return

Won’t be going back

I was charged $24 for. Cheeseburger combo meal. If I had not received a receipt I would of just been out of the money. Instead I was given back $12 in cash because the cashier didn’t know how to refund a card ( that’s part was ok ) . We waited a long time because they were busy ( which was also ok ) but the cheeseburger was not even warm ( cheese wasn’t melted on the burger ) and the fries were cold. My friend I went to ordered the chicken and fry basket and only ate a few bites of her chicken tenders. We were both very disappointed.

I ordered a pepper steak sandwich with fries . . . There was only 2 of us. . . My sandwich was wrapped in a white paper and my sandwich was very soggy and the paper got stuck to sandwich and my entire sandwich fell apart and I couldn’t get the paper off the sandwich. They told me they would remake it and it took them forever to get it out, they came out with just the sandwich and I told them my fries was also in the basket. They went back in and it took them about 20 mins to come out with my sandwich and fries! My replaced sandwich came out dry and over cooked! All that was in the sandwich was burnt buns, dry overcooked steak, with very little filling ( cheese, bell peppers, no onions) very disappointed with slackers! What happened to the foil wraps?

Dissapointing

Given the reviews, and the price of the food, I expected more...make that MUCH more! My shrimp basket was OK, but nothing to write home about. The junior hamburger had WAY too much pepper on it and almost wasn't fit to eat. The junior hamburger by itself cost more than $6 (and it's about the size of a plain hamburger from McDonalds). Then you have to pay extra for french fries and a drink for the junior burger. So essentially a kid's burger (with fries and a small drink) and a fairly small shrimp basket (without a drink) cost almost $35. Definitely NOT worth the money! Apparently all of the menus shown online must be VERY old because the prices that we paid were astronomical by comparison. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Wanted some fry bread

Could not wait to get some fry bread. This was mentioned to me from a local. Here you walk up and order and they bring it to your table. The portions are great. I had the sweet potato fries and fry bread. The fries were bomb! Nice size order. The fry bread was a great size as well, but it didn’t have the flavor I’m use to and it was chewy. My friends had the burgers which they said didn’t have enough seasoning and the fry bread was chewy for them as well. The tater tots had a perfect crisp and flavor to them. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean and the portions were worth the price and it was made fresh . It also has inside and outside We chose the ice cream which is in a separate section of Slackers. The staff was nice but two of the people left one up front to help those who came in. The price is right and the flavor is great and there is inside seating. The weird thing is you are not able to enter from the door that leads outside, you have to walk through Slackers.

Worth a trip here!

I don't know what burger chefs around the world have been playing at my whole life, but they need to come to Slackers and learn how to make burgers. This was by far the best burger, and one of the best meals I can remember. The meat itself had incredible flavor with a crispy edge and the bun was grilled perfectly. Toppings (mushrooms and Swiss) were yummy, And the sweet potato fries! I had to beg my husband to take the rest from me before I ate myself into a blissful coma.

Navajo Taco!!!

Slackers was recommended to us as we were asking around about Navajo owned businesses. We had a great meal here! We got a Navajo taco and a burger on Navajo bread - both were delicious!!! Chili cheese fries had real beans. Local and bottled beers available. Terrific experience and we were well taken care of l. I would highly recommend and would come back here for sure when on Page.

Delicious food!

Stopped by for lunch on the way from Zion to the Grand Canyon in the town of Page AZ. Nearby to Antelope Canyon which was amazing! Delicious food...I had the cheeseburger and fries and my daughter had the fish sandwich and a side salad and everything was so yummy. Great find!

Definitely Not Slacking Here

Came here for lunch while on vacation per the recommendation of the driver from a tour I took (I have to say the name of this place caught my attention as well). So glad I came as I was not disappointed. I sat out on the patio which was very quaint. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. I had the cheeseburger with tater tots and a fountain drink. The burger was cooked just right and delicious as well as the tater tots (nice change from fries). Would rate this place among my top 2 favorite burger joints. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely come back.

Great fry bread!

Our tour guide through Lower Antelope Canyon, Orin, recommended Slackers when we asked about a good place to try fry bread. He said we should try the bison burger on fry bread and that's exactly what both of us had. The burger was large, so we didn't order any sides, but I'd go back to Page just for another of these fry bread burgers.

Delicious Burgers - Good seating options

Had supper here. Located in a strip mall, so plenty of parking available. You order at the counter and pay and then they deliver your food to your table. Drinks are self serve. Seating is both inside, booth and tables, and outside on picnic benches. Burgers were good, tator tots hot and crispy. Prices are on point with other similar restaurants. Employees were friendly.

Good casual place

Good burgers and fries for a relatively quick lunch. It's a fast-casual restaurant so between a sit-down place a fast food place. The burgers were good for this category. The fries were excellent. And they had a really great selection of drinks! Not just beer but also hard seltzers. I discovered the Ranch Water brand because of Slackers and it is delicious. I recommend Slackers for a casual lunch.

We stopped for a quick lunch while in Page. I opted for the Kineh burger (burger with ‘buns’ being fry bread). It sounded great. The bread was fine but the burger was just ok. Husband ordered the blue cheese burger but could not locate any blue cheese in it?
