While in Page we stopped at State 48 Tavern and Taproom for dinner, after sightseeing. The service was top notch, our waitress was fairly new, but you couldn't tell. I don't recall what our group ordered, but the one thing that stood out was the...deep fried avocado with a side of ranch. I could've eaten this for dinner and nothing else. We were not sure what to expect, but it was really good. They had a decent selection of items on the menu, and we were all pleased with out meals. Great stop if you're in Page.More

The menu has a good variety and priced at the new normal. Our server was pleasant and efficient. We each had a salad that was fresh and delicious. The surprise was the $4.00 vodka/tonic ( not happy hour price). State 48 is doing it right...and i highly recommend stopping thereMore

Excellent food on our trip to Vegas. The Sliders were Sliders in name only, huge and tasty, I could only eat two. The Shrimp tacos were delicious as well. Bar type fun atmosphere.

Unassuming location, next to the hardware store, but don’t let that fool you. Good food and a comfortable environment. Whatever you decide on, don’t skip the deep fried avocados, soft and creamy hidden in a crispy fried coating with a side of ranch for dipping.

Don't let the location fool you! Not often you give a 5 to a restaurant located next to the Ace Hardware, but State 48 delivered. We hit at the right time and were able to get one of the outside tables, and before the heat...hit. Our waiter was attentive, and the food excellent. I had the pork chop, and my wife had the steak. Quality was as good as we could expect. Price was in line with the quality, and as a kicker they have a nice beer and wine selection.More

We had a blast! We were a group of 11 (3 families), and felt immediately welcomed. KK took amazing care of us, Adam, the owner graciously joked around with our rambunctious group, and Jonathan was funny too. Everyone we encountered there took excellent care of...us. As a group, many of us have worked in restaurants and hospitality, and we were delighted by the treatment we received! Next time we are back in Page, a stop will be required.More

The food was great, and so was the dessert, I had the fried ice cream sandwich, which I could not get enough of. The service was brilliant, and great music as well.

We tried this restaurant in Page after a busy day. The food was generally good and the service was excellent. I had the salmon and asparagus, and my daughter had the shrimp tacos. Both were good. A friend had the pork chop which was overcooked....When the waitress asked about our meals, and my friend replied, she offered a discount for the overcooked pork which was nice of her. I would eat here again.More

We’d just completed 15 hours of traveling by airplane and car from New Jersey, and all we wanted was a decent dinner before collapsing into bed for the night. It was a Saturday evening around 7 pm, and two other places we tried had nearly...a one-hour wait for a table. State48 looked full, but there was a table for us. You know how you might feel suspect of a restaurant that has no wait while others around have a long wait? Happily, there was no need for concern. I can’t imagine why there was such a wait other places but not here. We enjoyed our meal and we’re glad we stopped in. An unpretentious restaurant/bar with a surprisingly imaginative menu. My wife enjoyed the cranberry walnut salad, and I dug into the State48 burger, which they perfectly prepared to my requested medium rare. I chose the side of potato salad over fries, and I’m glad I did; it was obviously homemade and definitely delicious. Extra bonus for us is they sat us next to the huge projection TV screen during a college basketball March Madness game, which is exactly what we would’ve been watching if we’d gotten takeout and eaten in our hotel room. Good basic food, elevated. Prepared well and served with a smile. Great job, State48!More

We came here about 5:30pm on a Monday in January. They appear to have a restaurant side and a bar side and we told the woman at the podium we were comfortable with either and she seated us in the bar. We immediately noticed the...pallet style tables and cool industrial looking light fixtures. We were provided menus and immediately began looking them over. Our server came over and asked us if we had any questions and she was helpful in providing recommendations. My wife decided on the Strawberry Basil Salad with Grilled Chicken and I decided on the Cowboy Burger with Fries. This feels like a local restaurant and bar where there are a good amount of locals and probably a good amount of out-of-town visitors like us. Our food arrived quickly and looked yummy. My wife was impressed by her salad and really enjoyed it minus the fried brie croutons which she opted not to eat. She commented on how she had never thought about adding shredded coconut on a salad but thought it was great. I frequently order Cowboy Burgers in various restaurants and while this was good it was not mind blowing. The French fries were crunchy and I enjoyed them. Overall this is worth the stop!More

Food is simply inedible. Soup tasted like it was taken straight from a can. Tortellini was worse - inedible. Spicy margarita so hot it burns your lips. Stay away!!!

Unfortunately we had to leave this restaurant before we ate. They had two (or maybe three) menus online. One showed some vegetarian options and another did not. We got there to find the menu with the veggie chooses was the wrong one. We apologized for...wasting their time and left.More
