I make it a point never to eat in hotel restaurants -- overpriced, bland, etc. But we were stuck because it was 8:30 at night, and we tried 3 restaurants that had a long wait. Big, pleasant surprise. The food was very good, and the choices were pretty interesting. Also, it was quiet because it's about a mile away from... More

I had a great time in Page, AZ. Stayed at the Marriott and had dinner in Peppers on the Marriott property. I sat at the bar and ordered from there for 2 dinners with drinks. Both nights Roark and Jordan were awesome!! I ordered the Lake Powell Amber and had Pasta with Blackened Chicken and Parmesan cream sauce. Amazing! They... More

Not at all "hotel food". These chefs get in at 5am and start preparing everything fresh for the day with plenty of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and a wide assortment of fresh meats and seafood prepared to your specifications.

My first meal in Page was at Pepper's. The guy recruiting me wanted to impress me. Now, 15 years later and many meals at Pepper's since its all still good. Met a friend after work last night. I had my favorite buffalo (real bison) burger, she had the warm gorgonzola steak salad which was huge. Both were delicious. Service was... More

I have a passion for food,to the extent I have even taken professional training from Cordon Blu and Culinary Institute of America in St Helena.(CIA). Too I have spent some 40 years seeking out not just good restaurants but exceptional ones. While food and cuisine is , or can be ,subjective, one can not miss or agree on the quality... More

Traveling with a friend, we wanted to share a meal, since neither of us were that hungry. The waitress wasn't thrilled we wanted to share a meal, but she did warm up and was pleasant when serving us. The meal we chose was Lemon/Rosemary Chicken (I believe, can't find a menu) which turned out to be a half of a... More

After staying in 8 hotels over the past 15 days, we were craving fresh cooked breakfast and a toaster that actually toasted the bread. We were not disappointed. The breakfast staff were ready for our large tour group at 6 am. Not only were the eggs and veggies fresh for Omelets, the cook was ready to cook easy over eggs... More

We decided to try dinner at the hotel after a long day. It's the Marriott Courtyard so we assumed it would be decent. #1 - The waiter was not attentive and was not personable. We had to ask another waiter for bread/butter. He never checked in on us to see about drinks/refills and only asked about dinner after we spoke... More

We were staying at the Courtyard and didn't want to drive from the hotel for dinner. Service was good and so was the food. We had the Gorgonzola chicken and chicken fajitas. We had a morning tour and ate breakfast before leaving. It was much better than most hotel breakfast buffets, with made-to-order omelettes.
