Our hotel manager suggested this place and we were glad he did! It is very good, inexpensive, Mexican fare. Our server, John, was top notch ! The salsas and chiles are delightfully spicy. The tostadas and chili rellenos were both good choices! Their refried beans are so smooth and delicious !! You should try this place and I don't think... More

This is a classic old downtown restaurant usually filed with a mix of locals and tourists. I had a trio of tostados. The guacamole one was especially good if a little messy to handle. My wife had enchiladas that she enjoyed. Good, quick service.

Stopped here for lunch while traveling. Charming historic building, friendly staff. The menu is very clear that the chilies served here are HOT! I opted for the green which was the milder of the 2. Had a combo plate wuth chicken. The meat was tender & not greasy at all. The chile stuffed with cheese was perfect. The batter did... More

What a great place. Relaxed. Great for small parties or large. Appeared to be popular with locals. The restaurant is sectioned off so there's only so many tables around you.

Really nice Southwestern interior decor where you can enjoy a largely New Mexican menu that includes some American choices as well. An excellent variety of traditional dishes along with superb soups and desserts. An upbeat atmosphere where you can enjoy yourself alone, as a couple, or with a larger group of family and friends.-

Great chips and salsa, very fresh. Salsa hot enough to be flavorful but not overpoweringly hot. Same with the red sauce on the burrito. Really good service by John, kept my soda full as I needed and checked in often enough without being ingratiating.

The food here used to be excellent, Now just good. Still , there is no where else in town where you can get a freshly made sopapilla with honey. Their tacos are good and the plates are abundant. Just the usual dishes though. Nothing stands out as a great dish except the desers. They are closed on Sundays.

The food here is always good. It reminds me both in food and decor of family owned Mexican restaurants from 50 to 60 years ago. The green chili chicken enchilada plate and the the pork carnitas are really consistently good. This is a very family friendly restaurant. Children seem to be very welcome. Domestic and Mexican beers are available. No... More

We just tried this place, and don't understand what the fuss is about. The "atmosphere" is okay,so is the food. But it is nothing more. The salsa was too spicy, the chili con carne plate was okay but the "stewed" beef was very tough, and my wife's green chile cheeseburger was not that great either. And for that and a child's taco plate we paid... More
