We had a great lunch here. This is a big place, with several bright dining rooms and friendly service.

Stopped in for an early dinner/late lunch and were seated right away, and glasses of water and chips/salsa showed up promptly. Placed our drink order and munched happily on the crispy fresh chips and just-the-perfect-amount-of-heat salsa (which was also very delicious.) We decided on the chicken taco plate and combination chicken taco, chicken enchilada and stuffed chile plate, both with... More

I was just passing through and was pleasantly surprised by the meal at this restaurant. It is easy to find, the food was top notch (you can get your red or green chile extra, and on the side), and the service was friendly. I ordered the Chile Rellenos and enjoyed every bite. Clean and worth the visit if in the... More

You just can't go wrong here. If you like spicy food and the pursuit of the red OR green chile; this is the place to go. I like the large portions; I'm always assured of late night leftovers!!! Service is always friendly and the place is spotless.

This was a busy restaurant in the heart of downtown Silver City. We were served by a wonderful waiter named "Steven." He was one of those waiters who is gifted at anticipating customer's needs. Although he was covering a table of ten next to us, we were never ignored. The food was wonderful. Pros: SPICY hot sauce, SPICY guacamole and... More

Truly one of the best finds in the city. Classic Hatch green chilis stuffed with cheese! Service was top notch!

Fare: Not great, but pretty good overall. Reasonably authentic. Guacamole was disappointing; uninspired and virtually tasteless. The entree was fine. Would/will eat there again. Service: We waited nearly forty minutes to be seated, as they had a busload of athletes arrive unexpectedly shortly before we arrived. Table attention was a tad lacking, as well. However, because the bus party exceeded... More

This busy restaurant in historic downtown has a menu which features New Mexican chilies. It is so rare to find perfectly executed chile rellenos. The sides, tortillas, and salsa were all great as well.

We live in Silver city and eat here at least once a week. It should have higher ratings but I think some tourists are wanting tex Mex or traditional Mexican food. Jalisco cafe specializes in delicious new Mexican food. It is spicy and fresh. The service is always good. The food is simply amazing

I did not know that there was a difference in Mexican food but New Mexico has a way with Mexican food that is definitely different and the food is hot - so if you like spicy food this is the place for you.
