Great traditional Mexican/New Mexican food, excellent server who kept the chips and water coming. We had a long wait at 7:00 on the Wednesday before July 4th, no reservations taken. It's definitely loud inside, a negative to our visit. The salsa was on point, the...More

I love eating at Jalisco cafe. It is my favorite Spanish food diner. The decor is great. It can get pretty busy at times so I would advise that if a person has difficulty with hearing with background noise, then you need to request seating...More

This time it was even better than the first time a couple of years ago. The staff was very friendly just like we remembered. The food is still very good and service was great.

If you've been to Silver City much, you've probably noticed the paucity of good restaurants. Especially restaurants that are actually open. The Jalisco Cafe has been a consistent oasis: our family has enjoyed good New Mexican there for many many years. They have all the...More

We decided to eat at this restaurant because it was recommended in a local guide. We arrived right before the dinner crowd. Great service and delicious food. The salsa was spicy but delicious.

Sorry, I’m not a vegetarian and didn’t ask. They can put Chile to the side on all dishes and they do have stuff on the menu such as bean and cheese burritos and tostadas.
