OK, right off the bat I'll tell you their outdoor dining area leaves something to be desired, but I am giving them a high score anyway because of the burritos. We make a point of eating here every time we are in Silver, and this...visit did not disappoint (other than the ambiance, of course). Ginger got the #8, pork and green. The pork was dry in a few spots, but it otherwise featured the right balance of chile, potatoes, pork, and cheese. And I got the Abuelo burrito (look for it on the specials menu, right above the order window). Thank goodness I am only able to order this masterpiece once a year, or my life would be significantly shorter. Misnamed because you will never make it to old age if you eat these regularly, the Abuelo features fat five ways: carne asada, chorizo, bacon, queso, and guacamole. Man oh man, this is one of the most delicious burritos in the state. The tortillas wrapping both burritos are Norteno style, thin and chewy, not bready like a Nuevomexicano tortilla, but perfect for wrapping grilled and roasted meats. Also, these are burritos, not burros, so they are normal-sized. If you have a regular appetite, these burritos are so calorie dense you won't go hungry eating just one. If you are a big fella, you may want to order two. At less than five bucks each, you won't go broke. Just make sure you find another place to eat.More
