Great French food, bistro style! Service annoying.

My friend and I were looking for a late lunch place on Smith Street and happened upon this French bistro. We ordered two different quiches and mushroom and onion soups. We also had coffees and dessert - a fruit tarte. The food was delicious, but the service was cloying and disruptive. Although... read more

Cosy, good coffee and tartelette. But.... far too expencive. It's cheaper even at Camps Ellysees in Paris.

We had a light lunch and a drink on Labor Day. A multi-generation family restaurant and was the perfect spot for the two of us.

One of my favorite things about this restaurant is how they serve the cafe au lait in bowls, brings back memories of a trip to Quebec City! Portions are large and food is delicious. Wonderful choices for brunch, lunch or dinner, and dinner specials each evening. Service is good; this is a family owned restaurant. Delicious homemade pastries and croissants... More

There were three of us, plus newborn in a stroller, and the staff could not have been more welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my Eggs Benedict Royal, and the others thought their meals equally delicious - French toast with bacon, and quiche - followed by one of the tastiest almond croissants I've ever had, and the little chocolate almond tort was... We went to Provence en Boite for their Bastille Day celebration. The street is closed off and the restaurant has tables outside. It is very festive. There was a great band and people danced in the street. The restaurant gave out hats and t-shirts for free. It is a typical small French café/bakery atmosphere inside with long banquettes. We had... One of my favorite places in Brooklyn . Cosy , friendly place , where you don't feel rushed or pushed out . Nice decor , outdoor seating. Very nice , simple bistro menu . I've been to many restaurants , but if you love beef - they have the best filet mignon and great beet salad . And croissants ...... More

loved everything. The bread, the croissants, the coffee. Everything was delicious. You feel like you're sitting in some Parisian cafe.

The pastries are good but way to exercise for their quality. The service is very bad. Very nice place, the food is great. I'd say it is a poor.

I had wanted to try this bistro for awhile as I passed it several times. The restaurant is decorated in a warm and inviting ambiance. The tables are close to each other so the restaurant is definitely "cozy". Lucky it wasn't too crowded when we were there. The counter displayed their pastries which looked delicious! We had a platter of... More
