The food is great. We all had the Pad Thai. Unfortunately the music is very very loud. So you can’t have a conversation. Because of the loud music all visitors talks very loud. The noise is terrible. As an European visitor it was very irritating...that I had to gave the normal tip. I would gave the tip that fits by the evening. That was not oke. I had a bad feeling of our visit.More

My daughter and I ate at Song last month. Pad See Ew very good. Staff patient with a fidgety one-year old who shredded the paper table covering to confetti. (We cleaned it up.). I saw quite a few families with small children during the early...dinner hour. If you dislike children, probably best to go later in the evening. Also had a takeout order of massaman curry last night. The sauce was utterly delicious. I was surprised and took off one star because there were no vegetables at all in the dish, only potatoes, peanuts, and chicken. It was delicious, anyway. My daughter loves the pad Thai and orders it every time. Curry puffs were flaky and flavorful. Clean restroom, nice ambiance.More

The person at the front desk isn't a professional even though he said he was the owner. So I walked in with my niece asked for a table for two the host said 10 min wait, I asked him if he could sit me at...a table that was available, he said their was people that walked out if they didn't come back in 5min he would sit me there, well 10 min went by and the "people" never showed up meanwhile two other people walked in I asked him again and he then told me I had to wait 10min i walked out because the guy was rude unprofessional. My family own restaurants from Italy to Scotland and New York we make the costumes feel at home and comfortable. If he's really the owner he's not a professional and he is rude. If he's not the owner he deserves to get fired. By the way I've been there before and the female host was inviting to the clients. 0 stars for service.More

This is my favorite Thai joint. The kids enjoy the fried rice and I love the glass noodles. The calamari is also delicious.

Hip vibe — clean decor. Upbeat feel and good ambiance— worked great for a family get together with cousins but a good date night place as well. Had one of the specials — a curried duck — ample portion with a lot of fresh vegetables...and noodles. Mango salad was excellent as well. Modest price point was a nice bonus. Worth the subway ride from Manhattan.More

I just can't stand it when I become addicted to something that's fried. ....GRHHHH!!! Song has the absolutely best fried calamari EVER!!! Yummy. Their drinks are a bit on the expensive side ($7 for a beer, $9 for a cocktail) but that's the Slope. The...other foods I've tasted have been just okay. Nothing to scream about except the CALAMARI!!! and the MAngo Sticky RICE Dessert!!!!! They are my favs.... I've been here a couple of times mostly for the appetizers. Def, try it out, if you are in the slope.More

First was dificult to find when you are looking for a thai restaurant and it looks lke a modern western chick pub. The atmosfeer was nothing to do with an asian place.Terrible noisy with loud music coming from low quality speekers system. Cold air would...invade dinner room everytime the uge garden door was open. Food service was fast but not attentive .Beer was great but took ages to get to the table. Service was also lousy.More

I have been coming to Song for years as the food is always delicious and the service can be a little spotty but nonetheless, it always turned out fine. However, today was a totally different experience. The guy behind the counter, God bless his eyes...brows, apparently had a bad day which somehow manifested in his mannerisms. There was absolutely no eye contact, he seemed extremely annoyed at something and after taking my order, told me very rudely to come back in 15 mins. I then proceeded to tell him that I was gonna wait at the bar and he just waved me away. Dear management at Song, this is unacceptable. You cannot allow your staff to treat paying customers like they are an annoyance. I don't care how good your food is but you have to let your staff know to treat your customers with respect.More

We found this place(just, as it was not signed very well from the street)after searching for Thai restaurants on TripAdvisor. It was close and had some good reviews. When we entered the establishment it had a cool vibe and we were seated quickly at a...table for four against the wall. Unfortunately we had to move from this table as the air conditioning pipe work was leaking onto us. Relocated in the centre of the room we ordered and I had the Shrimp Kai Soup followed by beef Massam. The soup arrived very quickly and was fantastic, every thing you would exspected from a Thai Soup. Sweat sour lovely seasoning. Shortly after our mains turned up as it was looking promising. Unfortunately upon closer examination the beef was old grey and very tough pieces of meat. The potatoes within the curry were under cooked and I was very disappointed with the dish. A friend of mine had the pad Thai which looked and tasted great so if we every return I would definately have that. Overall the food was good value and maybe I was just unlucky and ordered the wrong dish.More

Ok. This time I had some alleged spicy pad Thai. Ahhhh. Not so good. It was so salty I couldn't eat it. However, upon telling the waiter of my unpleasant experience, I was made another fresh serving to take home and ate it later that...night. I was ok. Not that spicy but the sodium levels were good. I also tried the sticky rice and mango... OMG!!!!! This is just pure pleasure on the palette. My friend had a whole snapper. IT was tasty but I've had better at other Thai spots in Brooklyn.More

We were trying to get to Joya but traffic was heavy. We opted for Song which is the sister restaurant of Joya. We were happy we did. The place lacks a definite ambience, however the food is very good. We enjoyed everything we tried. Calamari...was excellent, grease free and crisp. Spicy Thai sauce was a good condiment.Grilled chicken skewers with peanut sauce was very good. Summer roll was okay. We all had the Chicken Pad Thai. It was excellent. I would go back again. Prices were decent and the service was good. A good time had by all.More

hip, contemporary but yet still great Thai restaurant in the heart of Park Slope. Full bar for the adults, but still children/family friendly. The food is good, not the true Thai spicy level, but good American level.

The place was packed so we sat at the bar next to a couple who was kissing and being very affectionate (I'm doing my best to be neutral, but that stuff is super annoying to me and my husband at a restaurant). The seats at...the bar are somewhat uncomfortable. Beyond that, the bartender service was alright, no complaints. We got the fresh mango salad (a special) that was actually not very good. Good enough mango but several cucumber pieces that felt like the leftovers from another dish, and cilantro - like a lot of it. I like cilantro but meh. My husband got the drunken noodle with chicken, which he really liked. They gave him the spicy pepper caddy, which made his day! I had mixed vegetables with the pad thai noodles in panang curry sauce. It was really, really, super good! I'm not vegetarian just didn't want any protein for dinner; they offered tofu if you want it. Prices were fine, nothing to speak of. All in all would have again.More
