Went for the second time to have their 8 course tasting menu and saki flights! Incredible experience. Unbelievable food beautifully explained by our charming waitress with an educational introductio to the many different sakis of Japan. Please note, they only serve saki or champagne. Strange but worked for me. A proper gastronomic experience in a beautifully authentic Japanese place- in... More

This atmospheric little restaurant is hidden behind a blank wall. You enter a Japanese style wonderland of mirrors, lights and bamboo to great effect. It is unpretentious and the food and service is excellent.

Zenkichi has some great things going for it, including no kids allowed, as well as the semi-private dining areas for groups of 2 and 4. Diverse menu, mostly excellent! Also a fantastic selection of sakes. It's slightly pricey and slightly pretentious, so not an every-other-week dinner spot for my taste, but certainly worth experiencing.

Really...they do NOT which is very irritating in this day & age. Yes they have an ATM onsite but who would trust that?? Then they were not very friendly, they took way too long to serve meals and the entrees were just average. No reason to go back.

The setting is absolutely great with small tables that make you feel you are in a private room. we did the tasting menu with the sake pairing. The sake was great. the dishes are small but there are so many of them. Everything just tasted great and the combination with the sake just takes it to another level. Great service,... More

Zenkichi is very stylish and pricey. It is not the type of Japanese restaurant that serves California rolls. We live in the area and like to go there on special occasions. The setting is very intimate and the dining experience is unique and flavorful. There is a 8-course tasting menu which is about $75 per person and is offered with... More

Zenkichi is a Japanese small plate place. It's got great food and very efficient, polite service, in a quiet, private atmosphere. Every table is its own little booth with pull down, semi-see through curtains which adds to the privacy. They have an omakase menu, which along with its sake pairing, is an amazing meal from start to finish. You get... More

My first Omakase in my life. I read one of the PR about this restaurant and then I searched about. The Omakase here is $75, tasting menu with 8 courses. It usually costs over $100 in the city. So I decided to try it out. The restaurant is very cozy. Very nice seating and they do respect your privacy. These... More
