My first Omakase in my life. I read one of the PR about this restaurant and then I searched about. The Omakase here is $75, tasting menu with 8 courses. It usually costs over $100 in the city. So I decided to try it out. The restaurant is very cozy. Very nice seating and they do respect your privacy. These... More

Zenkichi offers a very relaxed and intimate atmosphere in which you can enjoy a plethora of fine foods. The dishes are made with attention for detail and offer the typical freshness, both in ingredients as in taste, that you expect from Japanse foods. The tasting menu is a highly recommended culinary voyage. Be aware that the coziness and confined tablets... More

This hidden Zen like atmosphere sets the mood for the delicious authentic Japanese dishes served in semi-private booths. The duck salad and cod were our favorite of the four dishes we shared. I also tried the basic sake flight which was really good too. Next time we will try the 8 course meal which they said takes up to two... More

Zenkichi is an interesting place with good service. Many find it romantic; we found it kitschy and Disney-like. The Omakase dishes lack sophistication both in terms of taste and aesthetics for the prices that are charged.

Not easy to find in Williamsburg this is a wonderful find that serves wonderful Asian food in a cozy setting. The sake list is extensive and you can get tastes of several to help you decide. The servers are well educated in the food and sake menu. Roasted amberjack and black cod along with seaweed salad and mushrooms along with... More

The food and service were fantastic! We had several small plates in order to taste a wide variety of selections. Everything was tasteful and beautiful. They have quite an extensive sake menu with descriptions so you can find what you like. The tables were quiet and private. You get the same feeling of peace and serenity as if you've entered... Visited here with my fiance and it was a fantastic evening. The restaurant is really unusual and the tasting menu is totally worth it. They roll down bamboo so you have a really private booth for the evenings. Great place for a date.

I went on a date to this place, it was very memorable. The food was to die for, but not huge portions. Definitely a place for couples. They created privacy for us by having a bamboo like curtain drawn around our table. Spectacular!! You can kiss and hold hands without feeling uncomfortable. It's not a cheap place, but worth it.

We tried the 8-course tasting menu, every single of these were delicious, fish, meat or veggy. That was an amazing dinner with a refined, light and original cuisine. We had a great time, I really advise going there!
