4 of us headed here after a night at the Brooklyn Brewery having had it recommended by some locals. An old garage kitted out with smokers and a large bar the place is cool. Great food sold by weight with simple sides to choose from a wide selection of beer and whisky. Well worth a visit.

Perfect for low and slow food, try the brisket and the pulled pork. Nice collection of whisky. But they have no waiters or table service , but a cool location in Williamsburg.

Statement from their website - "Smoked Meat, craft beer by the gallon and the best american whisky list in New York city". My opinion - The meet is cooked to perfection, the selection of craft beer is large (and the 3 types I tasted was very good), and the number of different whiskys was impressing! Great spot for a looooong... More

We had excellent barbeque here several years ago and something had definitely changed- today or was only eatable. We are very disappointed- other barbeque restaurants in the city are much better.

Fette sau is located right next to an auto body shop, and the space itself feels like it may have once been part of that same body shop. It's a no frills experience where you order at the counter and eat on picnic tables. There's a bar with whiskey flights and seemingly endless selection of beers, probably 50 or so... More

The brisket was the best. It had some fat, which made it taste better. The beans was supposed to have pork and beef in it but I didn't see or taste any. I prefer the beans to be more on the mushy side, theirs wasn't.

Homely, down to earth place, with long communal tables and benches. You order your choice of the cooked meats on offer, sold by weight, minimum quarter pound, they get put on a greaseproof paper covered tray along with your choice of beans or potato salad in small tubs and some small bread rolls and sit down and tuck in! Good... More

Quite simply this has set a new standard for me in BBQ food. I can't enjoy regular ribs anymore after trying this stuff! All premium, all delicious, a real experience & education in southern style BBQ.

This place reminds me of Freddy's in House of Cards but more popular and filled with hipsters. It's down an alleyway which doesn't look particularly inviting but it's a quirky wee place with really tasty BBQ meat (brisket, pulled pork, spicy wings) and an incredible whiskey collection (whiskey flights available)

Very popular hip spot. Lots of locals. You order in line (brisket and pulled pork, and potato salad were quite good), and then buy beer separately at the bar (lots of great craft choices). Picnic tables with paper towels and BBQ sauce.
