This place is small, but the food speaks volumes.I've been to quite a few BBQ places but this one is on top of my list everytime I get in that mood. What's good as well as bad is that the menu is made of chalk which means the menu can change with the blink of an eye. However, the replacement... More

Always a winner and never lets me down! Food is always excellent. Pork belly is my favorite. Open up a bun, add barbecue sauce and tasty bbq and you have small bites of heaven. It is definitely worth the trip to Brooklyn to dine here. Communal style tables where you can enjoy with friends and strangers who become friends. If... More

The food is great, the drinks are great, and the service is pretty good. I only don't give this a five star rating because you are most likely going to have to wait in line. I was lucky to make it one night while it was raining and everyone went in hiding, but it gets really busy otherwise. 100% worthless... More

However you understand barbecue, this is great. If you tend to believe that bbq should only be a certain way, then perhaps you need to open up your mind a bit. The food is flavorful, tender and beautiful. Be prepared to be disappointed that you didn't order more.

I probably should have paid attention to southern friends who told me not to go for BBQ in New York, but was swayed by the great reviews. I ordered the ribs from the counter - was repeatedly told to order the minimum at the counter which meant I ended up with two ribs and ended up going elsewhere for more... More

Yes authentic and hipster is an oxymoron but it really describes this joint very well. Smoked BBQ and communal tables are trendy but these guys deliver. The ribs are expensive but delicious. If your low on funds go for the chicken wings, which are tender and ever so spicey. The baked beans were smokey and delicious as was the the... More

This place has ridiculously delicious BBQ meats, served and eaten with a huge greasy smile, and with an unashamedly pork-leaning vibe (hence the name of the joint)... It's a casual, counter-served place with a slightly grungy style but an absolute must-stop if on this side of Brooklyn.

Hate leaving bad reviews, especially when it looks like I'm in the minority, but I was disappointed. We arrived too early but hung around the area for an hour or so until it opened. It was the final night of our trip so funds were running a little low so we were careful when ordering, I tried to ask how... More
