Have been here twice for lunch during the past week. I had the penne a la vodka which is my go-to in Italian restaurants and seafood salad. This was the best I have ever eaten. Bread basket served immediately upon seating. I went earlier in the day so wasn't too crowded but everyone else there seemed to be locals and... More

So they definitely don't have the best Italian food in Brooklyn. The shrimp scampi came standard over rice (since when is that the standard?) and the risotto dishes really lacked flavor. With that said, you can find some great treats on the menu, such as the fried calamari, which was very fresh, and the penne vodka, which was one of... More

The food is really delicious, authentic Italian. As we live in the area we go to Il colosseo often. I love their cheesecake.

My second visit was even better than the first fantastic one. Had, in a typical Italian "trattoria" ambience, pasta with home made special spinach and cheese sauce a glass of original italyan white wine...delicious. Tasteful basic home made bread with flavored olive oil. And a real espresso at the end

Italian waiters speaking Italian to Italian customers who know their Italian cuisine. Enthusiastically prepared. Family friendly at least at 7. Everyone's cool with kids. It's family!

Came to this restaurant upon the recommendation of a local resident, after viewing the Christmas Light Displays in Dyker Heights. Despite it being a Monday and 8pm, the restaurant was full of diners and bustling. Please note that parking can be problematic around this restaurant and you might have to drive around a bit to find a space. We had... More

This restaurant was great many years ago. The service mediocre the food not so good. The baby octopus, grilled was as hard as a rock burned no taste, the rigatoni alla bolognese un disaster. The rest of the stuff we ordered not to good only the dessert was ok and the espresso. I will never get back. My friend said... More

This is a cozy Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. The pizza is stone oven baked. Always a great meal each time we eat here. Family atmosphere and very pleasant. The service is really great as well. The Profitterol chocolate cream puffs are a must.

This is an old fashioned restaurant. It is not much to look at from the outside but what a great surprise awaits you inside. The waiters are all friends and get along very well, the atmosphere is good old fashion noisy where everyone has a good time, Makes you feel like eating and drinking. This is where the food comes...
