Yesterday I went to Burger Village, as a frequent customer; I only eat organic food, so my options are limited, and I have been here over 150 times. I want to also preface this by stating that not only have I worked in the food...industry- I've worked at celebrity bars and restaurants, so I know what customer service is supposed to be like - and how customers should be spoken to. As my sister and I went to pick up our food that we placed online (maybe about 10 minutes before we got there). When we walked into the restaurant, my favorite waitress told us that the order was just recieved on their end - we were slightly confused, but said nothing. Another waitress by the name of Sedeth (excuse me if her name was spelled wrong) was eating at the bar, and even though we weren't speaking to her at all, she interjected and told us in a very rude and impolite way that it would take 15-20 minutes, and we *need* to go wait outside. My sister and I were really thrown off by the way we were spoken to, and we went outside. As I was replaying the situation in my mind, I became upset and decided that I wanted to ask why I was being dealt with in that manner. I proceeded to walk back into the restaurant and speak to the other waitress Ash. While I'm telling her that Sedeth was a bit rude, and maybe needs to be spoken to; Sedeth comes over and asks if I'm referring to her, I reply yes, and she began to argue with me, and ultimately tells me that I need to 'relax'. A caucasian woman walks in, and Sedeth speaks to her politely and says 'your order will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes, if you could please wait outside'. I state "I wish I was spoken to in that manner" and she tells me that it's not that serious. Even the customer that came in was upset on behalf of us and how she was behaving. When I asked for the manager; Sedeth told me the manager doesnt come into the shop, but Ash informed me that the supervisor is in attendance on weekends. I'm putting this review EVERYWHERE that it can go. Keep your racism to yourselves. #blacklivesmatter #blm #equality #equalityforallMore

Just had a burger here and almost everything was wrong with it, it was tiny, more like a slider, very expensive for what I got, the roll was cold and disproportionately large compared to the patty, the patty was unseasoned and had zero flavor, sauces...cost extra (they seriously charge you for BBQ, hot sauce and other basics), the veggies it comes with were boring, cheap and skimpy portions, what a scam, not the type of place i give business, won't go backMore

It took 45 minutes to find a parking place in a driving rain storm on an early rainy Sunday afternoon. So, it was a complete fluke that we ended up at Burger Village ... it was literally the closet restaurant we could get into ......to get "out of the rain!!!" That being said ... What a find!!! We were greeted immediately and seated right by the big front window. One of the things we noticed right off the bat was how family friendly the restaurant is ... there were children of all ages ... from infants to toddlers to grade school children ... so very nice to see!! A couple of the items we ordered were a little different (for us) ... One item was an Elk Burger and the other was a Mushroom Burger ... the Elk was amazing and the Mushroom Burger never arrived because of a mistake in the kitchen ... a Black Bean Burger arrived instead (of the Mushroom). The Black Bean Burger was very tasty ... and because of the mistake ... they sent us home with the Mushroom Burger too at NO CHARGE (it was awesome as a snack ... later that evening)!!! Overall ... terrific place. Great atmosphere ... Family Friendly and Wonderful Food and Service. (Aside: It is slippery walking to the restrooms when the floors are wet ... visit, and you'll see what we mean!!)More

Stopped here with a friend for lunch on a Sunday, looking for a good burger with all the trimmings. We found it. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Our burgers, beef and bean, were cooked perfectly....There were families with small children enjoying a nice family lunch out, as well as couples of all ages. Nice atmosphere.More

Incredible Burger Joint. Gluten Free - Check. Vegan - Check. Organic - Check. So many options for those with any dietary restrictions. Plus so many protein options... Turkey, Bison, Ostrich, Elk, Lamb, Salmon (sorry if I missed any). Worth coming to. You won’t be disappointed....Ask for Seder. Incredible waitress. Very patient and pleasant. Thanks for taking care of our group and accommodating us with our order. Will definitely be back.More

This is a sit-own restaurant where you can have sandwiches and salads, but it's about hamburgers. The beefburgers are tasty, juicy, and cooked to order. The house sauce is spicy, and good. The fries and onion rings are perfect. The iced tea is great. There's...a good beer selection. Nothing fancy- this is the basic burger and trimmings, done perfectly. They also have burgers made from other meats; they're good, but they don't compare.More

If I could give ZERO stars I would! This place was absolutely awful. I went with my husband for dinner on a Saturday night as we were craving a good burger and hard this place was good and reviews were alright. We were seated at...a sticky table, which we thought whatever lots of kids dine here so carried on didn’t say anything. We placed our order with the waitress, my husband ordered a burger with various toppings and I ordered the Elk burger with what they call the deer toppings without the mushrooms. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, I mean it’s a burger and fries shouldn’t take that long.. then when it finally came out our orders were completely wrong! The waitress tried to convince us it’s what we ordered, we were very polite, and explained it wasn’t even close. We had to show them again on the menu! Then about 15 mins later our burgers returned, mine still wasn’t right but wasn’t going to wait to have it sent back again. So went ahead and started it eat it..... it was hardly cooked, I couldn’t even stomach it so just ate some French fries. There was no offer of deduction off our bill even though my food wasn’t even edible.... all in all a non edible dinner cost us almost $60! The only silver lining was I didn’t get sick from the food!! Horrible place will never go back or recommend, Id definitely recommend for people to go to the 5 guys a block or so up the road instead!! I’m very disgusted with this place!More

Looking for the best burgers in Brooklyn we came across this place. The burgers were great and the shakes were delicious. No wait for a table (though we arrived very early, around 6pm)

The worst! Manager is a trained to argue with customers in front of other customers who have the same complaints about their experience after making them wait 15 minutes to talk with him, and telling each of us not to mention the same problem, that...he's talking about the one problem (which he was trained to appease by offering free dessert). Claims he made the (cold burger I waited nearly an hour for, as did the family at the table next to me). Was he the manager or a burger flipper? He would only offer me another burger instead of taking care of the one they already served bad (would the next one take 2 hours?). He asked if I shouldn't have to pay for the burger, I said I'm happy to pay for the draught beer, it was lovely, but I don't know about the burger, it was not what I ordered. He said "it's not happening". He went from 10% off to 20% off. I just wanted to get out of there, they made me wait for my food and wait to talk to someone who was supposed to be reasonable but was only offensive and I'd been there way too long starving after a very long work week and hadn't had lunch that Friday because I was so busy. Two servers and the "manager" offered the excuse that they were busy. When I ponited out that half the tables were empty they replied there were a lot of take out orders. I said that still doesn't explain why I had to wait while my burger got cold. That was when each of them offered the manager/alleged burger flipper, although he lied about everything else so who knows why they make the manager flip burgers?More
