We went there a Sunday morning for a brunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Everything was quite expensive on the menu. My husband took what seemed to be a complete meal (the most expensive on the card) and he finally had less...to eat in his plate that my “after church” brunch (classical eggs, potatoes and meat). As he had so less to eat he asked for a side of potatoes which never came... Moreover No refill on tea or coffee... The waiter was very pretentious and the decoration in the restaurant was very plain. No point going there..... find another place really ;)More

Our group stopped here on the way to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and it was a great start to an awesome day. The food was fresh an tasty. We tried the cinnamon doughnuts in lieu of the scones and biscuits and weren't disappointed. The favorite...at the table was the Eggs Ben Franklin. The sauce had a delectable mustard base. Each meal came with flavorful greens. The waitress was attentive and kept the coffee coming.More

It was a quiet night there because of the inclement weather but we still braved the rain and had a great meal. The appetizers to share we such a treat. A wonderful way to begin your meal. We each had a different entree. The duck,...chicken and corn mush. Honestly, the corn mush was my favorite. So much flavor!! I couldn't stop stealing from my friends dish. Had cocktails to start and a delicious bottle of Soave Classico. Service was spot on and really added to our night. Thanks for everything!!More

Our family had been there several years ago when they first started. It was excellent in those days but something was so off this night. It was Mother's Day and our 40th wedding anniversary. We did the courses as we had done in the past....They totally skipped one of our courses, had to ask for our oysters course. Had to ask for water refill and it was sparkling when we had still. Service was so off! In the past we were treated special. The food was so bland, nothing special. It was a total disappointment that we were so looking forward to on this special day.More

The restaurant accommodated a third person to our reservation a few hours before we arrived which was great. However, when we arrived it took some time for anybody to even acknowledge us as we waited to be seated. Server was sweet but it took a...really long time to get our drinks and our food. We were all partaking in the prix fixe menu with several starters. Instead of bringing them out one at a time, we had the first one and then the next three were brought all at once which I thought was odd. The starters ...radishes, asparagus were very fresh and simply prepared, the liver mousse was fabulous and the oyster was ok. The pasta course was incredibly salty to the point where I almost couldn’t eat it. My main course was a rice porridge with fresh peas thAt was wonderful ...fresh and surprisingly light, I loved it. Others had the sea bass and duck which they enjoyed. Dessert was a blueberry creation on a shortbread cookie with vanilla ice cream that was good but not special. The mini chocolates that ended the meal were delicious. All in all a good but not great meal, probably not worth a return visit with so many other restaurants in the neighborhood.More

I came here once with friends for brunch. Whether it be the decor or location I was excited to eat here. The food was not poor per the rating but the portions and quality relative to price was an issue I would suggest increasing portions...as a potential solution for this restaurantMore

This was our 2nd time in the main dining room and it was not the same as the 1st. We walked in via the bar area and waited, no one came to us. We ended up having to walk up to someone and ask to...be helped. Once we sat down the service was good. I think it was the food that was not the same. We have also tried the bar area before, definitely not the same as the first few times.More

its an experience, not bad, good memory but .... it did not start well when they offered to seat us in the canteen instead of the restaurant room despite a reservation. We did not really find the Michelin star. The food is fine, the ambiance...as well. The journey start with a soup carrot/ginger. too much water. Our vegetarian got a alternate appetizer instead of meat... 2 slice of pickle. whaou. ambiance is fine. Service... has areas of improvements: serving wine is a job. Welcoming guest also. Size of plates vary significantly from one guest to the next one. Fish is good. Count about $100 per person, even in NYC we expect better. Was it an unfortunate bad night ?More

My daughter was staying in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for the weekend and she had missed by Birthday in January, she she invited me and her dad for brunch. She chose this place because of its rating and menu. This eatery is in the middle of a...very kewl vibe neighborhood. The menu is delightful, the chef is from PA and is very creative in comfort food. The hash, sage sausage, home made donuts, fried apples all delish! It is worth the trip! Bloody Mary's a must!More

I came in the afternoon for lunch and a drink, and enjoyed myself. For One, it was my first time in Brooklyn, and I really wanted to find a cosy place to just have a quiet lunch, and stumbled across this place. I had a...hoagie with some fish in it, and it was pretty good. My waiter had a smile on his face the moment I walked in and until I left, this definitely added to the pleasant experience. After lunch, I had a drink at the bar and the bartender was very warm and social, definitely a plus for a solo traveller like myself.More

We really enjoyed everything that was brought out to us. We were able to have a taste of each of the appetizers, each one somehow more delicious than the last. We had 4 entrees to choose from, each one unique and creative, and beautifully presented....The dessert was to die for! Our server was so pleasant and attentive, and you could tell he was so proud of the food he was serving us. We were seated immediately and offered a nice beverage selection as well. I highly reccomend this place to anyone wanting a delicious, once in a lifetime meal.More

I booked this place for lunch 3 weeks in advance (from Israel after planning my 2 day trip to NY) only to receive an email from Open Table 2 days before that my reservation is cancelled due to a private event. 1)You could expect a...Michelin star restaurant to at least contact you in person and apologize and not to have you "contact Delaware and Hudson if you had a problem with the cancellation". 2)Couldn't they possibly have known enough time in advance of this "private event" to let me know accordingly? I could have planned to dine elsewhere-and it is not easy to find a good rated Michelin star restaurant at such a short notice.More

We were 4 for dinner. Service& food was Excellent. The prix fix menu was altered to accommodate a vegan, vegetarian & 2 meat eaters - with satisfying results. The wine choices were good, service prompt , kind and not overbearing . Would definitely go again

Great simple food, delicious local wines served by people with a clear passion for what they do. Absolutely a lovely foodie meal however during our visit to many little things went wrong for us to be able to imagine that they would be worth a...michelin star. Long waits between courses (which they realized and compensated with a lot of friendliness) that you just cannot excuse if you want to live up to your stars and food wise we enjoyed everything (all very fresh and pure) but it didnt knock our socks off. All in all a great dinner but expectations were different because of the star, which is a shame, they might be better off without.More

Came here for my birthday. Nice little restaurant in the middle of BedfordHo. Most tables are for 2 people. We were 3. There is only one menu made by the chef. Several appetizers, entrée and desert for about $65pp. That's fine. The waitress came asked...if we wanted a wine gave a suggestion and we were happy with it. the corn chowder came in a bowl thimble size. It was good. The caprese was tasty and filling. The pretzel rolls we would have with the entrée. We were done with the appetizers and enjoying the wine. But we realized that we were still waiting for the entrée. We asked the waitress she said 5 minutes. We ordered fish and steak-med rare. There should be no waiting. The menu is set with only 3 choices. Now it's a half hour and we are still waiting. The waitress went in the back and brought out the entrée. By this time we were annoyed and late for a party. We asked the waitress to wrap it up and she said she had the desert for the birthday people- my friend and I. We were forget about it. We need to go. It was NOT crowded. There were too many serving people and utensil switching for a meal we waited 45 minutes for. The meal in itself was fine. Not sure how Michelin rates its restaurants but we need to talk.More
