This was our first experience with Israeli Mediterranean Cuisine! We asked our server "Marco" for assurance and confirmation on our selections. Marco was excellent! We started with the flatbread appetizer and one Mediterranean salad to share. We ordered one entree, the chicken schnitzel, which came with an Israeli salad, pickled beets and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and the two... More

I visited on both Friday and Saturday for brunch. The service both times was great. The Israeli breakfast was spot on, although not quite as colourful as you'd get in Tel Aviv. The shakshuka was pretty bland, unfortunately, but edible nonetheless.

We were looking for a restaurant that had meat options but also dishes for vegetarians. Miriam fit the bill. Located on a pleasant corner a bit west of the Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens and east of the Barkley Center and downtown Brooklyn, this is a very relaxed restaurant with very good food and service. It has a middle eastern flavor.... More

Not your typical menu. Loved it so much we went back twice. the line up is long on the weekend but well worth the wait and they will call you when your table is ready so we just shopped in the area and before we knew it they called us. We were a large group of 6 the second visit... More

This was a tasty characterful place with a middle eastern flavour. I had a nice feta salad. The service was good. Strong individual identity.

Miriam has great middle eastern inspired food plus the creature comforts you'd expect from a neighborhood restaurant in Brooklyn. We went for brunch. I had herbed eggs served with Israeli salad (tomatoes and cucumbers finely diced in olive oil), labneh cheese (a cross between cream cheese and Greek yogurt) and freshly made pita. Yum!!! And not too fattening. My husband... More

Nice place in Brooklyn, busy and cheerful at lunchtime. We had excellent brunch with different kinds of omelettes, French toast, pancakes. More Mediterranean food is also available on the menu. Good atmosphere

Food was wonderful, fresh, authentic and attractively served. Very generous portions. Lamb, red snapper on basmati rice delicious. Very tight quarters, noisy and shabby. Great service. Try it for a taste sensation, everything is good. Falafel, hummus, roasted egg plant with red peppers and goats cheese. Mmmm

I went to Mariam with friends for brunch and would highly recommend it. I had the lamb shawarma with basmati rice and it was quite delicious.
