The line that starts at 5 pm almost every day is a good indication of the quality of this restaurant. I'm fortunate that I live in the neighborhood-it's my go to place when family and friends visit. I've not been disappointed in any meal I've had here-the menu is creatively put together with local fresh ingredients.

Al Di La Trattoria came to me as a recommendation from an experienced and self-described Foodie. And the Zagat and Michelin Star rating certainly intrigued. I can only describe it as one of my perfect -- however understated dining experiences. The atmosphere is simple and romantic, rustic and weather-worn all at the same time. (Note: if you are seeking a... More

I've dined at Al Di La three times over the last several years and have not been disappointed. Is this place the best in NYC? No, but it is very good. Yeah, only three times. Not enough. Our last experience was just after the 4th of July 2016. We dined with another couple from Minnesota and treated them to one... More

From start to finish a fantastic experience! Met at door by owner, I believe, who said they were running behind, told us to go to their bar next door. We ordered a drink, then when table was ready they brought everything over and added bar tab to dinner bill, all we had to do was walk to our table! All... More

Best risotto outside of Italy. Great place, friendly and professional staff. A must when in the neighborhood!

The waiters were on their game. The main course was good. The peach cake was delicious. The waiter helped we it the wine selection. It was not as full bodied as I would have liked but the bottle was lovely.

Food was excellent. I had the white bean, kale and squid "salad" special. It was phenomenal. My other two guests had great pasta dishes. Dinner was served with fresh baked bread. While the plates weren't too large, they really were plenty big for us and the favors were grand! Would easily go again! One downside, once served, we really didn't... More

Great restaurant. Love the fact that the menu changes daily. Out of all the great park slope restaurants, this one is definitely my favorite.

A birthday dinner for a dear friend was a disappointment. Perhaps the Friday evening noise contributed to a missing casual elegance, small close tables, no table flowers, no flair to make the environment welcoming or memorable. The salad was constructed without fresh flavors. The Beet pasta without flavor and with pasta edges uncooked; the corn pasta was more interesting but... More

My fiancée had dined here with out-of-town friends just once before (five weeks ago). She was eager to bring me out of midtown Manhattan and do the 40 minute subway ride to Park Slope, Brooklyn. So we packed and got out our passports and made the trip-- just kidding about that. Seriously, one doesn't realize what a relief is is... More
