Underwhelmed by the good. Sounds best when reading the selections on the menu, but once on the plate, most items are over-produced and just plain trying too hard. Everything was duper rich and there didn't seem to be any balance of tastes in any of the dishes...most everything was way too salty, which coming from me means a lot as... More

Early this year we went for dinner, the reservation was on time, the waiter was very helpful with all the options. We were not rush, the martini & the wine made us forget we were in NYC. The service was impeccable, lots of options on the menu and few surprises from the chef. The deserts with the liquor... We will... More

This is the small cafe at the Brooklyn museum. When I eat at museum cafes, I don't expect much, and am usually not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised here, however. They gave a place where you can order a bowl from a typical neighborhood in Brooklyn. Irish stew, etc. I had the Nostrand avenue which was a shrimp curry dish,... More

Great interesting restaurant, paired with a day at the Brooklyn Museum or Botanical Gardens is a consummate Brooklyn experience. Worth checking their online menu to plan your visit.

We were not expecting anything special since we came for the Museum only with no idea about where we would eat... but it was amazing in terms of quality, aesthetic and taste. Since I'm both French and a true food amateur, this means something. What a good surprise for such a price. Congratulations.

I was looking forward to visit the Brooklyn museum and to have lunch at Saul's restaurant. I made a reservation on open table expecting a busy lunch crowd. ATMOSPHERE The place was almost empty. Only about 3-4 tables were occupied at 1:45 pm when I arrived. Same during the 2 hours I spent there. This was a big disappointment. There... More
