Attended a private event here. Th e private room was small,?crowded and noisy. The first course was a small Cesar salad with turkey cubes. It was ok. Next was soup. I had chicken noodle. The. Roth was fine but had few noodles. For entree I...selected a pastrami sandwich. It was very large and I took half home. All were served with coke slaw and pickles on the table. This was good Jewish deli. There is no parking. Street parking is very, very difficult.More

I used their website to order. Their confirmation said would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, I gave my name and was told the order would be finished in a few minutes. A few minutes afterwards I was told they...did not start the order. They claimed something went wrong with the website order (but I had a confirmation which I printed). I had to wait about 30 minutes after I got there to get my order.More

Food was great. A large variety of great and tasty meats. Good value. Place a little run down but otherwise all was great.

This is the type of deli that NYC had when I was a kid! I’m so happy it’s here. Pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are fantastic. Nice rye bread. Hearty matzoh ball soup, Cole slaw done the right way and nice crunchy pickles. Fried knish...reminds me of the tasty knishes that you could buy at any frankfurter stand as a kid. They’ve all been replaced by shish kabob and falafel carts. The lunch special is the best deal-sandwich, soup and a drink for $19. The sandwich is hearty. Bring your appetite. Enjoy! They also have celery soda😀More

As you enter in the front is a large glass case with all the deli meats, salads and other specialties to order for take home. At the end of the counter and to the left is a nice size dining room with table service. Whenever...here the staff and wait people are friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are huge. Luckily you can order soup and a half sandwich which is prefect. Once seated you can peruse the large menu. Any type of sandwich or other old time cooked Jewish meals are available. Once you order, pickles and a bowl of Cole slaw are brought to the table. This time I and my companion ordered the soup and half sandwich for lunch. We both got the chicken soup but this time with kreplach which I haven't had for years. Usually I get the Matzo Ball soup. The kreplach were delicious. We both decided on the corned beef for our half sandwiches. Everything was great and we will both be back.More

The menu and portions are generous and the Romanian pastrami and corned beef sandwich was outstanding. No fat and piled so high I could not fit the sandwich in my mouth. The half sour pickles are the best I have ever tasted and do not...miss the fried pickles. Johnny, our waiter, made sure we had a great experience. .More
