I popped in here with my sister for dinner, and we were generally pleased with the experience. There were no other customers, and the staff seemed a little annoyed by our presence. But they were fast and professional. The fried rock shrimp was a good started, which we followed with sushi. They forgot some of the sushi that we ordered, and their special Coney Island roll was pretty weird. But the food is reasonably priced and tasty, so you could do worse.

A below average counterfitsushi establishment. Staff is notoriously unfriendly for many years now, and food has been of the lowest quality of the competition in the Brighton Beach/Sheepshead Bay Area. Nothing worthwhile, truly.

Salmon and Maguro sushi is $1/piece; the shrimp shumai is excellent. If you are in Brighton Beach or walking the Coney Island boardwalk, go east to Ocean Parkway and wander over to Umi.
