I see why this place is always busy!!! We had a great time, but you have to get there early or you will be waiting a while. $1 mimosa's you can't beat that!

Visiting Dad in Brooklyn from England 🏴 Nice little find, chill out with good crowd excellent food , would recommend however always full so says it all.
Visited this spot to meet up with college classmates who live in brooklyn. The brunch is sooo good, and the $1 Mimosas were tasty, and not watered down. It is a fairly small place so you need to be ok with being a little crowded....Also, this is not "fast food" so be ok with waiting a little while to receive your entree. will see an array of beautiful people. This place is great for tourist who want to get away from the city, and see what Brooklyn has to offer.More
This undoubtedly is one of my favorite places to go in all of New York City. The calamari is the best that I have ever had. The speciality drinks such as the Iron Horse or Sea Water are truly amazing and get the job done....The ambiance is very comfortable and I could stay for hours eating and drinking. There's not much bad I can say about this place nor would I even if I did. I always look forward to going back every time.More
My friends and i walked into the packed brooklyn moon cafe after shaking our hips at a dance party at the nearby park. We we're not dissapointed we got there right in time to experience open mic with a live band and patrons going up...to show their talents. The food was awesome Jamaican jerk chicken for me.mmmmm!! And the drinks were out of the world. I recommend the sea salt woo hoo! Brooklyn moon gets 2 thumbs up from MeMore
Meals at brunch are ok it's the $1 mimosas that outshines everything. I've been here several times for the after work special and highly favor the salmon burger with the curry fries.
Was afraid to try salmon burgers and not a fan of beer but when on strike, I threw caution to the wind and said what the heck. Best salmon burger I have had and I've tried a few since. I've also acquired an addiction to...grapefruit beer. The lunch special was exactly what we needed while on strike. The wait staff is really cool.More
Love coming to this spot after work for happy hour 2 for 1 specials. Their jerk wings is a must with the seasoned fries and apple salad, my fav every time I come here! Certain evenings they have live entertainment. Spot is very small and...can get loud but everyone is in their own zone and vibe with one another.More
I love this spot. It is one of my go to spots. Great wings, great calamari. I also love the whiting, They use to have a great whiting sandwich and their turkey burgers were to die for and don't talk about their fries- they are...awesome. I don't know if they still do the sandwich or burgers, at one time they stopped. They would definite have my vote if they bring it back. They also have great drinks.More
I have lived in Brooklyn, NY for 16 years and hands down, I would say that this is my favorite restaurant. Every time someone has visited me, I take them to Brooklyn Moon. I love that they change the décor periodically. The food is fresh...and good. My favorite order is fried chicken with apple salad. While some friends have asked me, "why does it take so long?" I often share it is worth the wait.... perfection takes time. The staff are lovely and the music is amazing. I love the Brooklyn Moon Café!More
Great atmosphere! Service was very fast (love it). The wait staff was very friendly and informative when it came to the menu. I had the jerk wings with mac & cheese. Very good portion size. The mixed drink menu is great! Next time I want...to shoot for the weekend brunch. The only tip I would suggest is to put up some standing fans or run the ac on Summer months.More
Since we had to make a stop in Brooklyn before heading back to Massachusetts, we decided to find a place in Brooklyn for Breakfast/lunch. An acquaintance who lives in New York, recommended the Brooklyn Moon Cafe and we decided to try it. It did not...disappoint! It has a simple brunch menu with a "prix fix" and $1 Mimosas on Sundays. I had the Cheesy grits with fried fish and my brunch partner had the Chicken and waffles. Food was good but, being from the Caribbean, I expected a little more flavor. Waitress was very professional and nice. I really enjoyed the casual ambiance and decor. The service was very fast. At $1, I wanted to have more mimosas but had to be mindful of the fact that I had a long drive ahead. The two dishes and four mimosas came out to about $37 with taxes and tip included. Budget conscious "me" was VERY pleased. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Brooklyn, NY area looking for cool, laid-back, affordable brunch spot.More
Visited this spot a few times, I've always been here for their brunch since they offer a good meal with excellent drink specials. All brunch meals are approximately $13 for reasonable portions. The food was good though there isn't much of a brunch selection....However, their...Mimosa specials are awesome! they offer dollar Mimosas while you eat only ( so you can take your time eating and sipping on Mimosas for a buck) ....they offer a variety of Mimosa flavors ( Pineapple, Mango, Guava, regular mimosas and much more)...I really enjoyed the ambiance, beautiful people of color in Brooklyn!More
This place is not the fanciest however its really cute and on a great street in park place. Good place for people watching. They have good food and great drinks. I used to come here in the late 90's and see some of the best...poets in NYC. The cuisine is soul food with a twist of caribbean flavor. If you're in the neighborhood, its worth a stop.More
I visited this spot back in April 2012 when I was In New York for my birthday weekend. It was awesome!!! The servers are great! The food is excellent! The drinks are off the hook! The Executive chef/Owner even took the time to visit our...table to wish me a happy birthday! And I met a celebrity while I was there! Wow! I plan to eat at this spot each time I'm in New York!More
