The place is legendary. No doubt. Lots of history. Its a must when on the boardwalk. Taste is always the same. Thats a good thing! BUT! $4.50 for a hot dog that you wait 20 mins...not so good then. But its a must!

A classic place. Never had been and met all expectations--will definitely go back. Also couldn't be more convenient right across from the subway.

Nathan's. Hotdogs, burgers, clams, fries. Works for me - world famous, plus the infamous July 4th Hotdog eating contest, Coney Island Original. What more can I say. From this Brooklynite to all of you, go as often as you can. Its fun

Classic Americana. Hotdogs, beach, Coney Islad and July 4th. We had to have a dog and get the t-shirt. We were here for the contest and 100 years of Nathan's Hotdogs. Dogs are longer than bun length and a little tougher skin than most. Service on the boardwalk was a little slow and it wasn't even the lunch crowd yet.

Well; what else can you say about a landmark Hot Dog heaven.. Been here for ever.. Nathan himself had a wagon he sold them from., it became the best place for "Franks" probably in the country., Now it's too crowded in the Summer.. Very expensive for a Dog, and some homeless walking about.. They actually live under the Boardwalk in... More

For me, Nathans holds a special place in my heart. Coney Island was an amazing childhood memory. During the summers of the 60s and 70s, my dad would pack us all in the 59 Pontiac and we'd head to Coney Island to watch the fireworks show. Either before or after the show, we'd hit the back of the line, which... More

Nice treat for my kids who only eat Nathan's Hotdogs from the supermarket. I loved the onion rings. Nice and clean and quick service. Fun place to take pictures, steps away from the boardwalk.

Honestly, I was expecting a diamond and I received a polished rock. The cashier took my order, handled my cash, then turned around and prepared my food with no gloves or hand washing in between. The entire operation was so poorly organized and ran with such chaos that I almost walked away. It took so long for the cashier to... More

So we were really looking forward to the amazing Nathans hot dogs, but didn't find it anything amazing. The hot dog we had from a street vendor near the Brooklyn Bridge was much the same. They were good, but not outstanding. The mustard was different from what we are used to, so that helped, but still nothing "over the top".
