It doesnt matter what you say about this place, good or bad, it will exist as long as qe eat steak))) so it is a great place great steak great tomatos with onion great bacon ! Good atmosphere! Not my first choice for steak ,...More
The food is really well prepared for what it is and is very well executed. As you'd imagine, the steaks are cooked perfectly. The onion rings are god but a little bland, the wine list is good but a tad overpriced, the creamed spinach is...More
Disappointing butter-deep steak. The steak is not bad, it's just not my type of steak. The ambiance and unfriendly service also do not help. For what it costs, I rather go for "Porter House" in Columbus Circle. BTW not BYOB-friendly.
Worth every penny. Far exceeds the hype.

I suppose every steak lover has to make the pilgrimage to Peter Luger once in a lifetime. Once was enough for me. While a popular neighborhood family spot, there is nothing about it that bespeaks a world class chop house.
The atmosphere is mundane: no...More
Get ready to wait but it is well worth the wait! Very pricey (>$425 for four and we had no alcohol). My husband and I don’t eat steak but our son and his wife love it. Their steak was very, very good. I ordered the...More
