Pizza was amazing! Best I've eaten outside of Italy itself. Freshly made, delicious and not stodgy like most pizza outside of Italy is- really authentic. Staff friendly and loved that you can see the pizza being made. Only downside is paper plates, and plastic knives and forks/cups. This is a very minor point though, the pizza alone is worth visiting... More

This pizza tastes GREAT. But I do not know why they serve it on paper-plates with plastic knife and fork, and drinks in a plastic glass. And for me, beer is usually not so important. But with pizza it is really good. They don't serve beer.. The service was ok.

Sorry, this one didn't impress me at all. People think that if there is a line, it must be good. Wrong! Mediocre pizza, paper plates and plastic utensils!!, dusty decor in an old establishment which seems was not renovated even once since it was built. Dust and ugly fixtures all over the place. On top of that, and I guess... More

Cool place: you can feel the history. We really liked the pizza, as well as the service. Pricing is quite fair. We live in Rhode Island where there is a heavy italian influence in all the local cuisine. Its tough to compete with the pizza in Providence (Al Forno, etc).

This establishment is wonderful. Massive pizzas (I can't even imagine how big the larger one must be) and tastes amazing. You can even watch the guys make the pizzas and see them throw the dough in the air while you wait. Excellent value and we loved that they had a built in tip in the bill (which was very reasonable).

After walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, we were really hungry. After about a 15min wait outside we sat at the counter and shared a steaming hot pizza between three. Simple, tasty and super thin crust.

After a walk over the bridge in sub zero temperatures, it was good to e warmed up in a lovely cosy pizzeria with fresh pizza. Freshly made, with good ingredients. 1 large pizza was more than enough for 2 who have hearty appetites. We were let straight in, no need to queue and the service was very quick.

I stumbled across Grimaldi's when at a teacher workshop. Needless to say, I ended up eating here several times during my week stay. A few months later I was there to visit my son who was visiting from overseas and had to take him there to eat.

Visiting in January meant lots of cold weather walks. It was snowing the day we visited Brooklyn. We planned to walk over the bridge, but decided to take the subway. It was still a walk to get to Grimaldi's...just not as long. The food was great and the atmosphere warm and inviting after the cold. Definitely worth the adventure to... More

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to taste Grimaldi's Pizza and it was worth every bite! There is usually a line but we got lucky-- we were third in line and it moved fairly fast.. the lunch rush came as we were getting seated. Pizza is very straight to the point, traditional and simple yet amazing! My husband and I... More
