Recommended as THE best place for pizza, I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. Very informal with paper plates and plastic cups for your soft drinks. Very understated in appearance but the pizza WOW, we had mushroom and meatball and the small size was more than enough for the two of us. Perhaps a bit difficult to find... More

We walked over Brooklyn bridge and had already planned to visit Grimaldis, a good sized que had formed outside but as we were just waiting for a table for two we waited only 5 mins, the place is authentic and has a real NY/ Italian feel the pizza came quickly and we ordered a small! Which was 10inch and was... More

Grimaldi's is a must-stop every time I'm in New York. We always have to wait in line to get in but it's SO worth it! Make sure to take cash because that's the only form of payment they accept. There is an ATM machine but you'll pay an extra $5 to use it. If you're looking for an authentic Brooklyn... More

If you don't love pizza and calzone don't go. But if you do walk the bridge around lunch time and head under to sit Feed a family of four for under 30.

We were recommended by a local lady after asking her in the street how to get to the Brooklyn Bridge and she was spot on. Good service and the pizzas were very good. You buy the pizza and then choose the toppings! Only this was that its all plastic cutlery and plates, but certainly worth while. Very good economic prices,... More

I come to Nyc at least once a year for 2-3 weeks since 6 years ago and I never had the chance of eating in this historical and famous pizzeria. Today I walked from manhattan to Brooklyn only for this reason. I entered and I was lucky enough to find a seat. 5 minute later there was a lo ng... More

To sweet pattering backdrop of Dion and the belmonts one would be forgiven for thinking for thinking they were in the 50's, enjoying a slice of pie before being whisked of to the prom. So what's the deal with the name? It was founded by the famous patsy Grimaldi way back, he then sold off the restaurant to open the... More

Quaint building with very attentive employees. Pizza was fabulous with multiple options. You can watch them hand toss the dough. A lot of history in the building. Sits under the Brooklyn Bridge.

One of the favorite places to devour pizza in pizza-famous Brooklyn is Grimaldi's. Just one topping please as it can get expensive and besides it ruins the taste. It's usually got a long waiting line, but go with a group and one can hold the place in line while the others take in the sights. But everyone must be there... More
