We ordered a large pizza between 3 of us and it was more than enough. This meant we could squeeze in desert and shared 2 slices of cheesecake between us and it was the nicest New York cheesecake we ate on our entire holiday. The Pizza was very very good. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to work up our... More

How good can it be? Well I have to say our Pepperoni pizza was simply the best we had all ever had. Not a fancy place, run like a well oiled machine but a must if u like great pizza. A walk over the Brooklyn bridge is a great thing to do before and after.

Best pizza in Brooklyn. Period. Superb location, authentic restaurant, great staff. Get there early, or queue! The pies are ridiculously good. I cannot wait to return

If you love to walk...this is a must do when visiting NYC in the Spring, Summer or Fall. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge and have lunch at Grimaldi's. The pizza is worth the walk!!

No faults of the food other than it being expensive for pizza. An American small is larger than a dominos large (for comparison). For what you pay, you'd expect more than paper plates, plastic drink cups and cutlery... There isn't a great choice of American fizzy drinks but the orange cream soda was nice. The staff didn't appear all that... More

Pizza was amazing! Best I've eaten outside of Italy itself. Freshly made, delicious and not stodgy like most pizza outside of Italy is- really authentic. Staff friendly and loved that you can see the pizza being made. Only downside is paper plates, and plastic knives and forks/cups. This is a very minor point though, the pizza alone is worth visiting... More

This pizza tastes GREAT. But I do not know why they serve it on paper-plates with plastic knife and fork, and drinks in a plastic glass. And for me, beer is usually not so important. But with pizza it is really good. They don't serve beer.. The service was ok.

Sorry, this one didn't impress me at all. People think that if there is a line, it must be good. Wrong! Mediocre pizza, paper plates and plastic utensils!!, dusty decor in an old establishment which seems was not renovated even once since it was built. Dust and ugly fixtures all over the place. On top of that, and I guess... More

Cool place: you can feel the history. We really liked the pizza, as well as the service. Pricing is quite fair. We live in Rhode Island where there is a heavy italian influence in all the local cuisine. Its tough to compete with the pizza in Providence (Al Forno, etc).

This establishment is wonderful. Massive pizzas (I can't even imagine how big the larger one must be) and tastes amazing. You can even watch the guys make the pizzas and see them throw the dough in the air while you wait. Excellent value and we loved that they had a built in tip in the bill (which was very reasonable).
