We started with the tandoori vegetables and paneer appetizer, and it was superb. Just the right amount of spice. I had the chicken korma and my dining partner had the navratan korma, both were excellent. The service was quick and polite.

We vacationed in Manhattan and our friends who live in NYC took us to Brooklyn to eat here. Now my experience with Indian food is slim but I can say that my personal experience with the food here was amazing. I had lamb curry and wish I could eat this dish on a weekly basis. The restaurant was not busy and service was fast. We did have to bring our own adult beverages but there’s a liquor store down the block. Five of us dined together and everyone was pleased with the food. Very authentic and satisfying!!!!

There is no way to keep me out of this unassuming Indian restaurant when I am in the area. Friendly owner onsite to preserve quality service.
Get 1/2 off anything on the menu till 3:30 as long as you dine in.
As expected, plenty of vegetarian selections. The tikki masala is in my top 5.

Empty restaurant when we arrived, few people collecting takeaways. Meal seemed very traditional in flavour and colours! No complaints very enjoyable

We have attempted this place twice - 2nd time was in hopes the 1st was just a happenstance. Nope again an hour for delivery.
And the food is way over priced for what it is.
There seems to be a deficit of good "Indian" restaurants and food in the North Crown Heights area.
We give up.

For those who actually follow my reviews, you know that my wife and I are now empty nesters with two fantastic and successful daughters ( let's be honest we ALL feel that way about our children), who are now on their own (whew!!). Our youngest lives in Brooklyn and always offers great places to visit and eat when we visit. On today's agenda was an Indian Restaurant. Our youngest is a vegetarian, which in all honesty sometimes makes dining a little tense at times. So today we stopped at Pearl and it will now become a future stop again. I started with the combination platter as an appetizer (consisting of Malai Kabab, Chicken Tikka and Boti Kabab), which was not only diverse, but all great tasting. The three of us ordered all different meals; I went with the Lamb Handi, my wife with the Chicken Tikka and my daughter with Daal Makhani (obviously a Vegetarian special). All were served family style with rice for each. To be completely honest at my roots I'm a steak and/or bar b que man...but this food rocks!!! The place is impeccably clean and the service was always attentive. The food was very good and comparable to other Indian restaurants, not the very best we've ever had, but far above the average. My only knock on the establishment is that it is fully BYOB...not saying I need anything alcoholic with every meal, but even I need something other than water (which in all disclosure never went below half a glass due to the attentiveness of the staff), to satiate my thirst. Other than that, we will return.

We almost always do takeout and it is excellent. All the typical Indian food (try the goat Biryani, the kababs and breads). The place is surprisingly empty most of the time for eat-in (despite a 50% off lunch menu) which is a pity and probably has to do with windows that are a bit too dark thus missing on walk-by traffic. But will vouch for the food.

We just come back from a lovely dinner at this new spot in our neighbourood, my wife surprise me eating everything with joy that means a lot of the quality of their food because she is really kind of picky..

This has become one of daughter's favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. Everything is home cooked to order and the kitchen will adjust the spiciness to your preference.
