We spent 10 days in NYC and we lived in a Brooklyn apartment. We are crazy for discover new places but this is the only one we returned twice because it is an awsome place with the best brunch in my life. First we had an omlett and a french toast. Both delicious, and the french fries are lovely. Next... More

Café Luluc is an unassuming bistro catering for locals and tourists alike. Service is unhurried and the quality of food is good. The menu offers a French touch but only in name. I enjoyed my visit and would most certainly go again.

Cafe luluc is one of my favorite places to eat at any time of the day. However, if I had to chose a mealtime to eat there as my favorite, it would be brunch. The only caveat is that they are a cash only establishment. Its a tiny place which means its always crowded, but that's to be expected at... More

My wife and two of our sons walked in and asked to be seated in their rear outdoor garden. We ordered a Mussel Pot and 2 salads as appetizers. The mussels were excellent, a little smaller than I like but very tasty. The beet, goat cheese and arugula salad with granny smith apples was excellent as well. We ordered 4... More

Probably the best pancakes I've ever had. I'm used to typical diner style but these were pancakes on steroids. They are crispy on the outside yet fluffy. I didn't even need butter they were so good. My wife had the quiche and that was very good as well. If you go, make sure you have cash because they don't take... More

The food was OK, don't get me wrong. But the service was slow, and it wasn't really that busy. The server was very friendly and polite, and knowledgeable when we asked our questions. The décor inside is lovely, and the outdoor seating is delightful, especially on a hot day, like the one we visited. The margaritas went down a treat.... More

Normally when we stay in NYC for a week, we never even think about going to the same restaurant twice, given the great variety of choices. We seriously considered going back for the world-class pancakes at Cafe Luluc. Others in our party had equally good omelettes.

My family was in Brooklyn for a wedding at Old Stone House Park. We stayed at Hotel Le Bleu and asked them where the best brunch was within walking distance. They said Cafe Luluc was a must - 1.1 mile walk. I walked there early morning myself just for recon, and it was FULL of people - Appeared to be... More

My boyfriend and I came in a little after opening time (8 am) and the place was already almost full. We were able to nab one of the last tables and shortly after, there was a line out the door. The place isn't very big and the seating is very tight. Be prepared to sit elbow to elbow with a... More

Most of our party wanted the big fluffy pancakes which I sampled and were very good. My son had Nutella on the side. I had an omelette with tomatoes and sausage and a generous side of bacon. It is crowded and bustling for Sunday brunch but the orders come up quickly. There is a nice outdoor patio but the wait... More
