I have experienced a hate crime today I’m a black African American the owner of Joya James Glenn after he snapped his fingers, yelled at me not once but twice he pulled his mask down to tell me I said hurry up when I was...the only person sitting indoor near the exit door I choose to get up and leave he said “ yes I’m f*^#k racist” he makes it seem as if I was the one who said something he repeated it, in reality, he said it out loud realized he had customers in the back this was disrespected, poor service for a place who has been such a success and great for the family to know the owner to stand to a customer's face and kick them out and to also say get the f@$&k out of here.More

Good authentic Thai restaurant. The spicy chicken noodles was outstanding. Nice out door backyard seating. Highly recommend in downtown Brooklyn.

What a delightful, friendly, delicious restaurant with the sweetest outdoor backyard. The food was great, the service was really nice, and the prices could not be beat. Try this place!

I went to Joya for the first time week after co int back from a trip to Thailand and was really blown away by how authentic Joya’s dishes tasted after esting the real thing. joya always deliver very solid Thai culinary experiences at a very...reasonable price. That probably explains why they have been in business for so long in an industry where most restaurants come and go. Ps: only down side is restaurant is super loud so we tend to order in vs eating there but worth it anywayMore

A friend wanted to try this place so off we went. Busy Friday eve but we were immediately seated in the garden. Menu with something for everyone, on-point service, delicious food and pretty setting. Not easily impressed but here I was. They have cracked the...code and perfected the formula. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back. ...More

After reading reviews for the best Pad Thai in NY, I selected Joya from one of my top three picks. I live in Bklyn. I always prefer to support my community businesses but I was more than willing to travel anywhere for the best Pad...Thai. So Joya it was. If you like dry Pad Thai without tamarind and palm sugar, and with over cooked tough shrimp. Joya is the restaurant for you. Note: this was take out or else I would have returned the food instead of placing it in the garbage. Almost forgot to mention the fish sauce was also omitted from the Pad Thai. I wonder who wrote those rave reviews? Bad...Bad...Thai.More

The food at Joya is great, big portions and very tasty. The attitude from the owner is terrible and brings the place down. My husband and I visited Joya three years ago however prior to this recent visit I couldn’t remember if we had been...before. It was the poor service we received from the owner that reminded me that yes we had been here before. We visited with our 10month old son, they have high chairs but no changing facilities in the bathroom.More

The venue, it’s the perfect combination of gorgeous and trendy meets comfort and warmth. I appreciate a nice glass of Champagne or a creative cocktail so walking in to see the full bar and fun cocktails was a welcoming surprise; the Bartender was witty &...entertaining, setting the pace for the rest of our experience. The menu blew me away, the wait staff were friendly and attentive, knew the food options, explained our choices and quickly had a table of delectable appetizers out for us to sample, lol we ate them all!!! Our meal choices were also mouthwateringly delicious, I cannot emphasize enough on “MOUTHWATERING”, truly among the very best meals I’ve ever eaten. Another nice touch was that the Restauranteurs, Andrew and Ariel visited our table, engaged us in genuine conversation, and we learned about Joya’s history. Lastly, my only regret was not leaving room on my dessert shelf!!! But I’ll be back!!! This restaurant is SPECTACULAR, 5 Stars & Beyond, Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊🍾More

I’m not sure if they take reservations but it’s definitely worth the call or the wait.
