My friends chose this place because it is near Barclay Center. They got there before I did and told me they were treated horribly when it came to getting a table we had reserved. We were squished together. Then came the service. We ate on a Saturday night and the service was an abomination. We waited and waited and waited.... More

We came across this place by chance but were so glad we found it. The decor is rustic and charming. The staff were very warm and attentive. The food was delicious. We like portuguese food (the menu is a mix of Italian, Spanish and Portuguese), so that was a plus. We had pasta of the day, grilled sardines and clams.... More

While staying in Brooklyn just a few steps from Park Slope we happened onto the TA reviews for Convivium. Naturally, we gave it a whirl. Unfortunately I must say that the service was average and the food was utterly unacceptable given the price and reputation of the restaurant. Specifically our server seemed obliged to attend to us , if not... More

Place was highly recommended by a good friend. I had the ravioli with green apple and cinnamon (it was surprisingly delicious). The spinach and ewe ricotta was delightful as well. The sea bass and grilled skirt steak as dinner was also delightful. My friends and I shared plates and these two were my favorites. I would definitely return and recommend... More

This is such a cute place with lots of charm. The wine list is extensive an we had a wonderful bottle with our dinner. The service was top notch. I am only giving this 3 stars due to the price of the food and the value. We had the charcuterie platter and artichoke starters and both were very good. I... More

If you are heading to The Barclay Center in Brooklyn this restaurant is very good. It is Italian , Portuguese style food. The choices are unique sounding but delicious. The only serve wines and some beers only.

We stopped in here for an early dinner on our way to Barclays Center to see King James (oh, and the other Cavaliers, too) play the Nets. The restaurant is small, warm and welcoming. Old copper pots and kettles hang from the walls. The waitstaff is the real deal with wonderful Italian accents. The food is inventive, without being silly,... More

Excellent wine and food, very romantic. Pine nut crusted rack of lamb was excellent, tender and delicious. Filet of Red Snapper was fresh and flavorful. The warm apple cobbler with ice cream was bakery fresh, tasted like my own! Portions were on the small side but the price point was perfect.
