We were just walking around Brooklyn and found this tiny little dinner. We had Chicken Shawarma-wonderful. The owners were very nice...worth a visit

When you have that craving for falafel, hoummos, tabbouleh, pita bread, spinach pie, grape leaves and so on, and you happen to be in Brooklyn Heights and are not wanting to pay too much, then this tiny friendly cafe is the real deal! Just remember that it's very basic and a popular local takeaway, but great for all that.

We had the chicken sandwich. It was good. We ordered a side of Babaghanouj. Everything tasted fresh. This time the babaghanouj was way on the garlicy side. The two pitas were warm that were included on the side. Great price. Healthy option. Would recommend. Seating area was small but nice and clean.

Great little spot with fresh, authentic food! Small - three booths and a couple of other tables. Looks like many stop in for take-out. Try the hummus, falafel, or babaghanoush. We had four plates that were too large to finish. Great value! The staff is friendly and fast. We will definitely stop in during our next visit to Brooklyn.

My daughter had a delicious little meat pie that was only $3. We had the kafta and Shish kebab. Fresh veggies and tasty meat with fresh tatziki sauce. Wish we lived close by - would eat there regularly. Friendly staff (owners?) definitely recommend.

Happened across this great little restaurant on Cadman Plaza. Falafel was $3 and more than you can eat! Service was great and very quick. There is a good crowd that fills it up at lunch. A very enjoyable stop on the way to touring Brooklyn Bethel!

this place is small almost went right by it. But luckily went in and was greeted by the owners. They helped us choose some meat plates and vegetarian, also had the lentil soup a meal on its own. We ate around 2pm so much food no need for dinner. A very enjoyable experience

A friend I was visiting took me here for the excellent falafel. Quick counter service and a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Liked it very much.
