Been in New York for a few days now - came here the first night and tonight . Both times I received exceptional service . If you're in Brooklyn for a few days pop in for a drink and they will make your day .

Stopped here for dinner prior to a concert at the Barclay centre. Arrived at 6 with reservations waited 20 minutes before our waitress took our drink order and another 15 minutes to get our drinks. The air conditioning was not working the food took a while to come out but our waitress never returned to our table to see if... More

Exactly what I needed - a great bar. The only food I had was a plate of cottage fries, which were truly excellent.

We went for brunch nd were hungry after being at the Brooklyn Half Marathon. We ordered orange juice and two bloody marys to start. They came about 25 minutes later after we had to ask for them multiple times. We also ordered HAMBURGER, CORNED BEEF HASH, and a three egg omelet with hash browns. the hash browns were some kind... This was my third visit and if anything the food is even better than my previous two. The menu offers some interesting selections. I started with golden beets with strawberries and pistachios followed by merguez sausage with possibly the best mashed potatoes I have had anywhere. My daughter had beer battered shrimp tacos with spicy aioli, pickled slaw, mango, rice... More

We had Sunday brunch. Good reviews on the fritatta, bangers and mash, coffee. They were able to accommodate a large group of 8 (with reservation), plenty of room. Attentive staff.

My nephew just moved to this neighborhood and Vanderbilt is walking distance from his apartment. We went on a Sunday for lunch. The restaurant is a pretty brick and wood restaurant with a large bar. We were able to sit at a large table for 10 . There were many families, children and young couples on dates. The food was... More

This is the second time I've been here. Very lively, great craft cocktails that change regularly. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Food is excellent. Service great and friendly. A very nice local bar/restaurant.

I went to the Vanderbilt with 3 others, so I was able to taste a variety of dishes. We began with the Beef Jerky, which was fantastic, but not much of it. Then, we had the brusselsprouts (excellent seasoning), cottage fries (good), crispy fried duck wings (I thought they were OK, but my friends thought they were great). For the... More

I visited for brunch and was pleasantly surprised at how really good the food was. I expected very good because this neighborhood has its share of excellent eating establishment but it exceeded expectations in so many ways. Decided to take the prix fixe brunch at $23 because it included several of their regulars brunch choices, a cocktail, and coffee. A... More
