Quaint spot for breakfast in a perfect location before we walked the Brooklyn Bridge. The service was very good and the food was delicious.

Absolutely delicious food in a comfortable welcoming environment! One of the wonderful owners, Marcelo visited with us to ensure everything was to our liking. The special that night was fantastic as I “borrowed” a bite or two from a friend when he was not looking....My dish was the lasagna bolognese...simply yummy. I would highly recommend taking time to enjoy time with family or friends in this wonderful establishment! Marcelo...I will be back! Thank you from Portland!More

Yours is one of two food outlets I have found on my current trip to the United States which have starting levying a four per cent additional charge for payment by credit card. This is bad business practice, which, as your accountants will confirm, generates...little additional revenue when the true costs of cash handling are taken into account and irritates nearly all your customers, particularly those from countries where such additions have been unlawful for years, such as the entire European Union. Many customers will now cut their tips to cover the additional cost, to the detriment of your staff. The IRS may reasonably look more closely at companies whose take by credit card falls to ensure that no tax evasion scheme is in operation.More

We had a terrific meal at this quaint spot. Service and food were great! We were walking back across the bridge after dinner so this was super convenient.

Stopped here for a quick beer, but seems to be an amazing spot. Their tomato bruschetta is out of this world, simple yet perfect! We also had their catskill pilsner and draft IPA. Beware that paying in cash will save you the 4% surcharge, but...the place is pretty upfront about it.More

After a long morning and exploring the Brooklyn Bridge and surrounding areas, we landed at AlMar in DUMBO. There we met Pedro (the bartender), and we were glad about it! Thank you Pedro for sharing insight into the history of DUMBO, and making our visit...AlMar relaxing and enjoyable. Hope to catch you again in the future.More

If I wanted to eat such unappetizing, boring and bland food, I’d have cooked it myself and saved some good bucks! A picture would have been helpful to show what my sandwich looked like but unfortunately, I don’t have one.

We went for breakfast, 5 of us, including my toddler son. The atmosphere was welcoming. Our server was very friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic. Our new favorite breakfast place in Dumbo.

So if you’re new to New York and a breakfast lover, nothing really opens until 1000 which kind of sucks but we found AlMar opened at 0900, WIN! Breakfast was average, I got the AlMar which was a breakfast sandwich and quite tasty. We also...got a round of mimosas, poured heavy. I would recommend if you want a reasonable breakfast and don’t want to wait Until later.More
