A like the dining room divided into sections by low partitions, with nice subdued wall décor making a pleasant and warm atmosphere. We started the meal with Russian champagne ($18), a bit sweet, but a bargain. Other wines were also reasonably priced. For appetizers we...had kutabi (wrapped greens), “cigars” (crisp fried casing with cheese, very good), chubeki, beet and dark greens with goat cheese salad, very good). As mains we had chachvara (small meat dumplings, excellent), plov with lamb (heavy on cumin), Cornish game hen with mixed vegetables, and chicken kebabs. Most of the dumplings were mixtures of lamb and beef. While all the dishes were competently prepared, some were too plain. The Cornish game hen could have been cooked longer. The service was haphazard and not very attentive. When I asked for a quiet table in the almost empty room, the waitstaff put us next to a party of eight, but I objected (did she misunderstand and think I asked for maximum noise?). Two us had almost finished our main courses before the other two were served.More

Disgusting attitude. It's not a Metropolitan museum or Opera, its a filthy restaurant in Brooklyn. Why do we have to suffer and listen to loud noises very night. You should move to different aria far from homes of regular people. We have needs to sleep...at night, not listen to noises from your machines and loud workers. Disgusted! Its 2 am and I cant sleep because of you! Stop it! No more! Enough!More

Traditional Uzbek food small restaurant. Positives: always fresh kebab, pilaf and manty. Negatives: No valet parking. It is very difficult to find the parking spot at this area of Brooklyn. This cafe usually is very crowded. You find no private or "romantic corner" to be...comfortable with your date. The sections in traditional diners provide you with more privacy and comfort. Service is good. Waitress was polite and attentive. Price of the food was reasonable.More

All kebabs there done with love and knowledge and taste perfect. There is a few of my fav...dishes: veggie and meat Samsa, soup lagman, lamb and liver kebabs, lulyakebab, Nargis salad. Good place for a lunch or dinner. Never leave this place disappointed.More

This was my first time experiencing Uzbekistani food. It was very delicious! We shared several appetizers and dishes and all of the dishes were very good, we really did not have any complaints! I am glad I tried out this place and highly recommend it.

Four of us dined here on a recent Friday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the service very fast and friendly. The dish of spreads was huge with about 8 different spreads and we sopped them up with their delicious NON,...their indigenous bread. We then tried different dumplings and I had a rice and lamb dish for the entree and it was very good. Unfortunately, we were seated by the kitchen and it was very busy with people running in and out continuously. We noticed huge plates of skewered meats and noted to try those the next time we dine here.More
