I went there for my birthday and I have to say it was worth it. We had seats at the bar and got to watch the master at work. Just wish there was an easier way to get a reservation... so worth it.

We ate there while staying in town for a trade show. It's a grocery store/deli with lots of take-out options. Things you can eat "as is" or take home to microwave, etc. Incredible variety. We love it.

And the "entrance" next to the Tea Section very unappetizing to say the least. Dodging Stock people and Holding-the-Nose conditions = Sayanora #BrooklynFare #HudsonYards ... You tell me please. Unprepared for this 'Experience'. #HudsonYards. Maybe a better waiting area might help✓>.

My colleagues and I decided to stop in at this market on our walk back from the conference we attended at the Hilton down the street. We ended up stopping there two mornings to get fresh fruit, egg sandwichs, eggs/hash browns and all of the...food was excellent and very reasonably priced! They have a little bit of everything inside the market. I would highly suggest this place for breakfast to go. If we had stayed another day, I would have tried it for lunch to go, too, from their deli area.More

Great meaty sandwiches with beverage and chips, hot food to go which they will let you sample before you purchase and also a grocery store component, so you can cook at home. We set out to get food for a picnic in Central Park. We...had a taste of the nicely-spiced chicken thighs and purchased a pound of them to share. Then we bought a few different vegetables to make the meal complete. They were each uniquely seasoned and we were extremely happy with our choices. Nothing plain or boring here. We are all good cooks, so we are very picky. With this last minute decision to have a gourmet picnic without the preparation, this place was amazing and reasonably priced.More

while impressed by the taste and quality of every dish served, I was not impressed by the presentation. It was very simple but then again, I believe there is a tendency in food to be very nordic right now, and that could explain the simple...presentation. Enjoyed sitting at the counter and seeing how the dishes were prepared. Everything seemed to be under control. Desserts by no mean the strong point - all were ice creams (delicious nonetheless)More

For all the haters, I say, sit down and STFU. Chef Cesar Ramirez was not just sprinkling salt on the dishes. He was making the sauces and controlling every part of this excellent and very beautiful meal. The sous chef was a talent all on...her own. Not everyone is fortunate enough to secure a reservation at this coveted table. But if you sit at the counter, you are lucky indeed. Fourteen courses, seafood heavy and if you've come this far, get the wine pairing, too. The selections are very unusual and rare. The sommelier was well-versed in the origins of the chosen wines, and it was a shame when the meal ended. Everything was perfect with regard to the fine food as well as the impeccable service. Well worth the heavy duty price and years of waiting. Only saw one person date to take photos but he must have been a journalist or something. We just enjoyed the experience without photos.More

Looks small from the outside. Once in, it feels like you can put items in your little cart to make something from anywhere in the world. Fresh veggies, fruits, meats..you name it! Little gems like this are why I love NYC! The people that work...there treat you like you're part of the family.More

The very best food I have had in New York City. All of the food was precise and of amazing quality every small mouthful was perfect in terms of size and flavour. Personally I think it's excellent value for money considering the quality of the...food and the overall service the only small downside was we chose the wine paring and there was a slight delay but it was not a big issue. I would go back again for sureMore

You'll get lost wandering through this maze of a shop, but that would be a good thing. High-end deli, pastries, produce, meats and bread. Made to order sandwiches and lots of everyday groceries and 'supermarket stuff.' Flowers, too. Very friendly checkout by folks who seem...to enjoy working there.More
