Went there specifically for the « chile en nogada » which is in season in Mexico: they delivered an authentic one! We also ordered the lamb in mixiote which you don’t find in any mex restaurant. For appetizers we try the mixed ceviche and the mini sopes....All 4 were excellent. That ‘s a pretty achievement. Restaurant is also cozy and trendy with a young crowd. Service was good. It’s a winner.More

I have not been here in awhile but have had good experiences here in the past. Recently we went and they were seating us at the same table with strangers even though there were 4 empty tables. There were 3 of us and they sat...us at a table for two next to another couple just inches away, even though there were tables they could have put together for 3 which were empty the rest of the night. They gave us the menu and my wife ordered a guacamole appetizer. The waitress told her they have to charge $2 more because avocados were hard to come by. I don't mind paying the $2 extra but they should have reflected the price in the menu. Be aware they are now charging close to 2% additionally for using a credit card.More

If this isn’t one of the nicest Mexican meals you’ll have, I’ll eat my (Mexican) hat. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Lovely relaxed vibe. The food is great. And the music choices are fab! We loved it. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress guided us through the menu. We all tried something out of our comfort zones and thoroughly enjoyed it. Best part were our margaritas , strong but tasty . Only downfall were communal tables . We lucked out that we arrived...upon opening but would not have been case after 7 .More

Mesa Coyoacan is a Mexican food lovers dream. The brunch is awesome. Not a big fan of the communal table setting but the food is worth the trip.

The guacamole was very ok for the price of everything on the menu. If it wasn't for the cute place overall I think I would of been disappointed. Other than the bar tenders, the waitress' acted like we were a burden being in their restaurant....One was rude to me because I was in her way getting to the bar. We then were seated and she realized she was our waitress, talk about awkward. Of course she wanted to be nice then. Service could use some more smiling faces, this isn't a cheap place to dineMore

This is a solid Mexican restaurant. The food was good, as were the drinks. The service was also quick. Fairly standard Mexican but it hit all the right "authentic" notes. Would come again.

Came here for lunch on a nice sunny day, enjoyed having the outdoor option for seating. We made varied choices, starting with delicious guacamole and homemade chips. I enjoyed the torta, enough to bring half home for lunch the next day. My son ordered an...egg dish from the brunch menu, his girlfriend the fish tacos. All enjoyed their choices. My only complaint was the cafe con leche I ordered, not a strong coffee taste at all. I would not order it again. Pleasant waitress.More

Was looking for a Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg. We found this place, came without a reservation. It's small and pretty, service is attentive. The margaritas were delicious and strong. The ceviche was excellent. I had enchiladas mole and the sauce was good, not too sweet.They...do not give rice on the side, you have to order it separate. The meal was very tasty.Warning: they charge Manhattan prices.More

Hi. The restaurant is in a section of Williamsburg that is fairly far from the East River and the most bustling commercial part of the area, so parking is usually not especially difficult. I've never failed to find a spot on... More
