We sat outside after ordering pizza inside. The atmosphere is good and the staff is very good. Pizza was excellent.

Anyone who knows me would inform you that Im not exactly "hip and with it." But this place created that illusion for me. The atmosphere, complete with floor to ceiling graffiti and hipster waiters, made me feel as though I had stumbled upon a hidden...treasure, only open to the coolest of the bunch. In fact, I spent so long taking selfies in their bathroom that I could hear customers complaining about me outside! Talk about recognition! Their pizza was delicious, thin, and artisanal. I ordered cucumbers as an appetizer and they delivered the sour flavor I was craving that day. Thank you Roberta's for a stellar lunch.More

Had a disappointing experience here. After waiting 50mins for our pizza, it was clear they lost/gave away our order because the server running takeout order distribution had to ask what pizzas I had order and they were calling out order numbers 5-6 customers after ours...with pizzas ready. A minute later a woman came out and says “it’s going to take 10 more minutes alright?” It was rude and I had not been pushy about my order taking long. The server noticed me still waiting and had asked me for my order number several times while trying to sort things out, so I felt it was completely unnecessary for her to come out, having never spoken or hearing from me, with that attitude. I gave her a look that said “ok, i guess,” (because what am I going to do - say no? I had been waiting 40mins already, we had friends who already received their orders, and I know it take 8-10mins to fire a pizza. Nothing I say is going to speed that up.) and she spits out “well it’s going to have to be ok.” and waved her hands dismissing me. After we finally got our pizza, my friend asked if they would comp them considering it took so long and had to remake them. The server got this lady again (I’m guessing she’s a manager but sure doesn’t act like it) and she came out and started yelling at us that “You got your food! We don’t refund you if you got your food.” in front of all the other customers waiting. It was just a truly rude experience. I know restaurants are understaffed, staff are stressed, and dealing with a surge of people re-emerging to eat out - but we all just need to be kinder to each other. I don’t know what crap she had to deal with before today, just like she doesn’t know what I have dealt with either - it’s not nice to just dump on people. I want to have empathy but other reviews here and on Facebook seem to point to a similar problem. This is something the restaurant should take seriously because she’s tarnishing the brand and representing the restaurant poorly.More

I am a Uber driver and I went this past weekend to pick up an order. First of all we are human being and just trying to make some extra money and for some this is there way of living. So now they put a...sign on the window saying all delivery pick ups please stand outside. If it was summer time that is fine but it was one of the coldest days and some of us are on bike. When we get the order someone at the store had to press that the order was ready. When I got there they said 5 minutes, I went into another store and waited 10 minutes. I walked back over and they said another 5 minutes, the funny thing is the customer only ordered one pizza. At point I said it is cold out here and the guy going to say then cancel it with a rude attitude which was not call for, while he was inside being nice and warm. The staff at this location is very rude and disrespectful. They need to be trained on Customer Service, and without the uber, doordash, grubhub your business would not thriving as much. Especially during this pandemic, you would think people would be much nicer. I hope I never get another pick up from here.More

On Monday July 27th me and my friend walked in to the take-away section of Roberta’s and asked if they were doing take-away pina coladas. I have never been treated with as much contempt and rudeness from the lady behind the counter . She snapped...at us “NO! I am not a bar”... which quite frankly, not only doesn’t make any sense, is also incorrect, since we had just been directed from the main section of Roberta’s to ask for drinks at the take out section. I understand people have tough days, but clearly this person is not suited for a career in customer service and she has tarnished the reputation of Roberta’s normally outstanding experience. What a shame.More

This does not look like a Michelin star restaurant, but it is. This is primarily known as a pizza place, though it does have salads, Italian meats, and a burger I hear is pretty good. The vibe is laid back and the staff is made...up of cool kids that don’t act too cool. I had the marinated cucumbers, so cool and refreshing. Cucumbers marinated in garlic, chili, breadcrumbs, and herbs. I then had the famous original pizza, which has tomatoes, mozzarella, parmigiano, caciocavallo, oregano, and chili. The pizza was delicious and had a kick to it. You could taste the fresh herbs and the crust was blistered just right without being burned. I had a few cocktails, which were fine, but they took a backseat to the food. I would definitely recommend this place, though if we are talking pizza only, and I had to choose between here and Frank Pinello’s Best Pizza, I would probably go with Best Pizza, also in Brooklyn. It just has a cool, gritty community vibe and you can buy by the slice. Frank did used to work at Roberta’s. If you want something a little hipper with a little more sophistication and variety outside of pizza, go with Roberta’s. Either way, I give Roberta’s five stars. And after you have a delicious lunch, explore the neighborhood and appreciate the street art.More

My daughter has been “bragging” about Roberta’s as her go-to pizza place. She’s hit the bullseyes on this one! We’re are small group of six so there were a lot of pizza to go around. This is our first time here and left it to...our companions to order for everyone. We got the Bee Sting and the Beastmaster. These two made for a great lunch. The Bee Sting stings a bit and was totally out of this world. This is our first time to try this one and we were immediate fans. For more “bite”, the Beast Master gets one going for seconds. And thirds! The crowd is diverse. Many millennials and a few oldies (me!) made for a great group of diners. The service was “jumping”, the wait staff was on the ball and quick to react to the diners. This certainly will be on top of our list to visit when we go to New York next time around. Brooklyn is a diner’s heaven.More

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the salad was delicious, the pizza was perfect, and the parking was terrible. We loved this place. Lil stinker is delicious.
