Our most recent visit on Sunday with a couple of friends was totally enjoyed. We've been there with our family as a small and large group. We've had our Christmas dinner there...the food and staff we give an A+. Needless to say, we'll be back soon. You can never get too much of a good thing.

DeKalb is not a thrilling avenue, but this charming small restaurant is a delightful bit of it. It is close to the Polonsky Theater, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Harvey theater, and slightly farther, the Barclay Center. The sound level is somehow quite low, so you can converse with friends. The tables are spaced closely so you might make... More

This cozy little restaurant in Brooklyn near BAM serves fresh pasta and delicious northern Italian dishes. The breading on the calamari was excellent, although the squid was a little rubbery, The rigatoni with eggplant and mozzarella was particularly delicious. The waiter was solicitous and attentive, and the wine selections were diverse and interesting.

Food was spot on! We ordered a variety both from the specials of the day and from the regular spectacular menu. All food was wonderful! There was a lot of spoons and forks going across the table with "taste this" or " you've gotta try this". This went from appetizers through entrees and desserts. Felt kinda bad for my son... More

We had dinner at Caffe e Vino prior to the Springsteen concert. Upon entering we could feel the warm family and welcoming vibe of the restaurant. The service was exceptional and the attention given to each table was great. The food was very fresh and tasty, portions were the right size. The price for the dinner was more than reasonable... We ate in this restaurant prior to visiting a basketball game in the area. The menu was very limited in its offering, and the amount of food for the prices left to leaving hungry. I don't mind paying good money for good food , but this place is giving you nothing for your money . If you are hungry ,... More

This is one of the few places to get a nice dinner around BAM. Charming rustic decor, can get cramped when very full. Food is good and well prepared; primarily Italian standards. Service can be an issue - sometimes I've seen only one waiter run around and try to do everything, so he is very harried. Truly a good choice... More
