I tried this restaurant today for the first time. I was tired of ordering Chipotle and thought why not try this place. The chips, guacamole, chicken burrito, everything was good. I would definitely be ordering from them again.

If you were to simply walk by this small 'hole in the wall on Nostrand Ave' you may be tempted to pass assuming it was just any other taco joint. And the small size and assuming decor may even turn you off. But looks are...as deceiving as can be with this Mexican restaurant gem. Not sure what to rave about more...the wide and unique selection of offerings...or the impeccable preparation and flavor. But the place is A across the menu. Almost a dozen options for tacos including the traditional as well as 2 veg options, shrimp and tilapia. Excellent burritos and enchilada sauce but also less common dishes like flautas and tortas and sopes. Guac app is smaller than it can be but the empanadas app are to die for! The location may not be inviting but this place has become our go to spot for Mexican in the hood when we want something more traditional than Chavelas.More
Some European visitors can find food a bit difficult in the US, full of sugar & artificial flavours, & of course we don't really have much in the way of good Mexican food...so get yourself along to Taqueria Milear! Clean fresh flavours cooked to order, a...very good homemade green chili sauce & even the salad vinaigrette was a delight, not syrupy as you get so often but with enough of a fresh tang to lift your lettuce. It's only a little place, cozy & friendly, & doesn't serve alcohol, but try the lemonades - again, not sickly sweet & plenty of chopped fresh mint, delicious!More
Met a friend for lunch here. It’s tiny (maybe 10 seats) but friendly and tasty. I have a soft spot for Mexican food as the first place I ever worked was a Mexican restaurant and this place is solid. And they deliver.
This place is puny. Can seat about 12 diners. The food was great. I had the grilled fish burrito that was outstanding. So fresh. The green sauce was amazing. My partner had the tostados. Great as well. Good service too.
Authentic Mexican food for really great prices. There’s a lot of interesting options on the menu. It’s a small space and service can be a little slow, but it’s well worth it. BYOB
