This restaurant is so fabulous. It’s hidden at the end of Vanderbilt ave by the Brooklyn navy yard which is why I think most ppl don’t kno about it. It’s decor is just beautiful I just love it. The food was great and our waiter...More

Title says it all. Not great, not memorable but solid. Has a sort of 1980's Miami vibe. We brought the kids, everyone else seemed to be on a date or girls night out. It has a party kind of vibe to it. But service is...More

Went on a Thursday night. Place was pretty empty. Lights were abruptly tuned low and they played W hotel lobby tunes. Food was all good, but nothing was great. Best item was a chili Margarita, which was midtown priced at 16 bucks....overall no one was...More

Good/creative wine selection, higher-end thai cuisine than what you find in Queens. Crab Fried Rice and fried fish in tamarind sauce are big hits with our group, with additional orders going out. A little harder to get to, but overall a fun dining experience.

Building outside is colorful and definitely catches your attention. Decor inside is gorgeous and lofty. There's a bar area as well as plenty of seating. It's definitely a million $+ renovation and it shows in the details. I came here the week it opened..perhaps back...More

Description
Enthralling food, eye-popping design and captivating music define Samui, a southeastern Asian restaurant with a focus on modern Thai cuisine. Food that is lighter, less heavily sauced and sugared, than what is on most Thai menus and that boasts intriguing variations by chef/owner A Napadol, who grew up cooking in her grandmother's northeast Thailand eatery.
