Travelling from Long Island with family members to visit the Dyker Heights Christmas Light showcase. Was looking for an Italian restaurant for dinner before we reached our destination. Searched internet and found the perfect place. Excellent service, cozy atmosphere, food was great (especially stuffed artichoke), and this very pleasant dinner was topped off with a visit from Anthony with a round of homemade after dinner drinks.
We'll certainly plan to return before next year's Christmas Light Extravaganza.

I have been eating here for many years. Anthony used to be the chef but when the owner of the old Pizza Bowl retired Anthony bought it and its now Anthonys place. The food here has never changed in taste over the years. The garlic knots are a staple for dipping. Anthony serves perhaps in my opinion the best baked clams. He puts care into it chooping them and mixing it with bread crumbs and seasoning then putting it back in the shell. old school pasta, chicken and veal dishes are as good as ever. Anthony also has specials with feature newer dishes. The personal pizzas are very light and are the best in the area. One thing not to miss is the homemade wine which I grew up on. Its the best.Anthony and Phyllis treat their regular customers like family. The prices are also very reasonable. This is a must stop for great italian food in south Brooklyn. Their slogan is "once a week is not Enough" and its so true. Anthony is a great chef and an expert in his craft.

Anthony's is a neighborhood staple, and it's great to be able to go back on a regular basis. They are following all the covid protocols, from temperature checks to disposable menus. The menu is extensive and specials are featured. In addition to the standard basket of delicious Italian bread, they serve a generous portion of terrific garlic knots. Baked clams and shrimp oreganata was a starter large enough to share. We ordered shrimp risotto, a special, and veal francese, both excellent. Their house red wine is exceptional. Everything about Anthony's Place is top notch, from the food to the friendly service. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Highly recommend!

Anthony’s Place has been our go to Italian restaurant for many years. The food is always fresh and delicious. The ambiance is pleasant, whether the indoor dining room with a fireplace in the winter or the glass enclosed sidewalk seating area. The garlic knots are the best around and are served with a generous helping of assorted Italian breads. The homemade wine is excellent, one of our favorite things about Anthony’s. The menu is extensive with mostly southern Italian cooking. The food is delicious and the portions are large enough that we usually have some to bring home. The prices are reasonable and the service is welcoming and attentive. If you are really fortunate, you’ll get a taste of the fabulous homemade limoncello. The best!

We had made a reservation for dinner on Saturday evening and it was a good thing since the restaurant was very busy. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated, as requested, next to the fireplace. The atmosphere was wonderful as it was beautifully decorated for Christmas including a large tree next to the entrance. The food here is delicious; we started off sharing fried calamari, which was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The homemade red wine was excellent. The menu selection is large and the portions are generous. Chicken francese and shrimp oreganata were both delicious. Service was very good, especially considering they were hosting several large groups. Parking is on the street. Highly recommend!

Anthony’s is a neighborhood Italian restaurant that has been family owned for many years. The owner is cooking in the kitchen and his charming wife is greeting patrons. The service is good and the food is excellent. Homemade garlic knots are a welcome addition to the bread basket. The food is excellent and in addition to the usual Italian staples, specials are offered. A very nice touch is the homemade red wine, delicious. Portions are generous and prices comparable. Parking is on the street. Highly recommend!

Anthony’s is a neighborhood Italian restaurant with nice atmosphere, great food, and friendly service. In addition to the standard menu, there are always specials offered. The house red wine is excellent and reasonably priced. Portions are generous and we usually have some left to take home. Stuffed baby eggplant appetizer was a featured special and it was delicious, as was everything else we ordered. Service is good and parking is on the street. High recommend!

We were here Father’s Day the food was great the calamari was delicious I would recommend it highly . Great ambiance they even have home made wine and water in carafes .

Staying at beach, decided to head into Brooklyn for Friday night dinner. Didn't even notice the garlic knots in the reviews. Pleasant surprise as my favorite. Good food and fast service. Wife had tasty grilled salmon. I had veal marsala food but a little too salty. Kids had children's meals. All portions just the right size. Only issue is no valet parking as shown in one of the pictures. But luckily found on street parking right in front.

Anthony’s is a family owned, neighborhood restaurant which consistently delivers a great meal. You are warmly greeted and shown the specials of the day. One of my favorites is shrimp oreganata with penne in a white sauce. The homemade red wine is fabulous. Menu is large and varied, and prices are reasonable. Interesting dessert menu, with some homemade choices, and occasionally homemade limoncello. Parking is on the street and can be a challenge, but they do offer valet parking on the weekends. Highly recommend!

The food was awesome,the atmosphere was great but again food was to die for. Baked clams ,penne vodka, tortellini soup,mussels ,Kansas city pork chop everything cooked perfect and the taste was phenomenal. Waitresses was nice and polite and even the owner came over and this is my new place to eat. Thank you Anthony's place

Buffalo calamari, sausage and brocoli rabe meatballs ar to die for. Very accommodating and friednly service. The chef is also very inventive. He concocted a red limoncello (strawberry based) which he served complimentary after the meal. Outstanding place !
