We have been going to Da Ciro for many years and for some reason I have never reviewed them. The food is consistently great. They have a big brick oven which produces the best pizza crust, robiola stuffed focaccia, baked clams. The simple but delicious...branzino is amazing and they make the best tiramisu. I concluded years ago that tiramisu’s time was up but I always order theirs. So light and flavorful. I wish I could comment on more dishes but the ones I mentioned are the ones I always order. Everyone else loved their meals, too. Equally impressive is the staff. Mr. Da Ciro has had the same staff for something like 20+ years, which tells me that not only does he know good food, he is a loyal man and a great manager. Even if you don’t live nearby, it’s totally worth the trip.More

Had lunch here which was excellent value and delicious. The staff are lovely and don’t rush you out even when busy.

We used to be regulars at Da Ciro’s old location at Lexington and 34th Street. The focaccia robiola - twin pizza crusts stuffed with robiola cheese and truffle oil - was the best stuffed pie imaginable. I’ve tried similar attempts elsewhere and they never lived...up. The pasta - particularly the rigatoni with eggplant tomatoes and mozzarella was perfectly put together. Yet for some reason the place stayed under the radar. What should have been a destination place was a neighborhood joint for foodies in the know. A few years ago it closed down and reopened on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn. I just went to that “new” location. l am glad to say the food is just as good. The focaccia robiola was dreamy and the rigatoni eggplant was just like I remembered it. Yet the place seemed understaffed and strangely lacking in energy and passion. That’s a shame because Da Ciro in its old location and its new one can and should compete with the best destination trattorias around.More

I eat here at least 2x a week and I am never disappointed!! Everything is delicious. Pizza is cooked in a brick oven pizza. My husbands favorite it the branzino which is roasted in the brick oven. They make the best desserts.you will not be...disappointed!More

great dinner for two on Saturday night .the 2 nd time I have had dinner at this location . the service and food is outstanding . the rest is a great neighborhood spot but we travel from the other side of Brooklyn for this place.... the food is delicious and the focaccia is a most . the service is good just the right amount of time at the table . I could see myself retuning for a long time . my wife and I ordered the focaccia bead as a app and baked clams like I posted the bread is a most . we both had two pasta dishes . I had the veal over fresh made pasta . my wife had shrimps over pasta both dishes were outstanding . we finished with the floorless cholate cake served with ice cream and coffee . it was a great meal , from the mood of the rest to the service and food . a real nice night out.More

Nice, low key, neighborhood Italian Restaurant ~ The service is wonderful, the food was delicious. The Focaccia Robiola, wow... if you love cheese, put this on your list. We had pizza, focaccia and pasta in our party and everyone was extremely satisfied with their dinner....We sat directly across from the brick oven and enjoyed watching the great pizzas come to life ! If you like Italian and want to enjoy email, try this place out in Brooklyn. Very close to Pratt.More
