This is a nice place with good food & a nice menu. Very large with many seating areas. Wait staff was very efficient & friendly. Great place to hang & have drinks on a sunny day.

Love the decor in the restaurant. Well "dressed up" for Christmas. Service by the waiters and waitresses are good too. Needless to mention about the wonderful food.
Went here with a young couple and their infant for Sunday brunch. I was stunned at the selection! Several kinds of salads, smoked salmon, peel and eat shrimp, cheese and crackers, fresh fruit, veggie tray, bacon, ham, sausage, potatoes, French toast, Belgian waffles, scrambled cheesy eggs, eggs Benedict, saffron rice, cod with a lobster shrimp sauce, chicken, roast meats, and... this very popular place is known for its sea food. has nice ambience with welcoming grizzly bear but can get noisy. There was a good selection for vegetarians too! I had quiona with vegetables but vegetable pieces were too large and broccoli was too raw. The others in the group had a bucket of crab and sea food and wee... More
Nice setting along the China River with a deck overlooking the river. Historic gold era building. A local favorite year round. Can be very crowded during the summer. Reservations recommended. Friendly staff. One of the best restaurants in Fairbanks. Wonderful Sunday brunch and nice dinner menu, generally above average food. Worth a visit. Been there dozens of times over the... More
Went there for a very nice dinner. Red deer steak was fantastic. Totally recommend it if you want to try something different. No "game" taste at all. The halibut is excellent - absolutely recommend it if you like seafood. Elk meatloaf is OK - but I'm usually not impressed with meatloaf. Thought I'd try it because it's different. If you're... More
I tried the calamari and the breading they use way overwhelms the squid. I also tried the elk burger and it was way over done and very dry and tasteless. was hoping for more but...
Great food. Great beer. Great service. And all in a beautiful and fascinating building. I'd recommend the Pump House for a beer or three and a hearty meal.
We arrived shortly before the end of their Sunday Brunch (until 2:00 pm). We were seated in the bar until they began offering lunch and bar food (sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc.). The brunch looked delicious.
