This place is very nearFairbanks airport. I had salmon towers and spouse halibut fish/chips. Both delicious. Met another couple we had been running into in Alaska. We all enjoyed it. Our charges $56 including 1 beer.

The Pump House was recommended so I gave it a try, despite the negative reviews. I ordered the fish and chips. I was gonna have the code, but the waitress said the halibut was better. It was just ok. The last piece was over cooked and hard. The food came out fast, but the service slowed down afterwards. Not sure... More
The ambience is spectacular, and our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but also very expensive. The portions are huge, so consider splitting a meal. You should experience a place like this at least once in your lifetime.
We visited the Pump House Restaurant this week and had a tremendous time. The food was excellent and the service simply outstanding. We had a small family group of two adults and child, and they did a wonderful job with taking care of everything. The location along the Chena River is simply breathtaking, with Birch trees everywhere and a great... More
Visited this highly recommended restaurant for dinner. My wife ordered Salmon Tower and I had the blackened Halibut. Salmon was very good and Halibut was outstanding. Service by Brittany could not have been better. If we ever visit Fairbanks again we will return to the Pump House.
This was the 3rd time I've been to the Pump House for dinner and this visit was no different than the others. The food is overpriced for the quantity and quality. It's an extremely busy restaurant during the summer due to bus loads of tourists eating there. The service was okay my other two visits but this time our food... More
After driving up from Anchorage in the blinding snow, finding this place along the way to Fairbanks was heaven sent. Fun atmosphere and helpful staff allowed us to unwind, enjoy the food and our waiter even took the time to tell us about the natural hot springs outside of Fairbanks for a better shot at the Northern Lights.
I enjoyed my meal at the Pump House, it is an historic setting, and the restaurant has plenty of sitting. There is also a bar where more seating is available and a large deck right on the river. It was a nice day when I was there so the deck was great. Service is good and lots to pick from... More
Very pleasant experience every time I've been here. My last visit included halibut which was delicious. The service was great and the views from the deck were beautiful. A nice relaxing, refreshing place to dine. A must when visiting Fairbanks!
