I have been to Alaska many times, but I have never eaten at the Alaska Salmon bake. $34 buys you all the yummy BBQ salmon you can eat. There is a salad bar, spuds and other fish entrees too. Enjoy.

Definitely don't go here with a full stomach. The initial portions are large, and it's unlimited. The food itself was ok, I think my favorite was the fried cod. All the meats were being cooked in front of you and came off the grill or out of the frier hot. This is obviously a place that is popular with tour... More

Well prepared food with a variety of side dishes. Both the prime rib and the salmon were well prepared and the servings were generous. Desert and coffee were included. There is a lot of outdoor seating in a pleasant park like setting and a very large indoor dining room. We ate outside on a beautiful summer evening and lingered over... More

Everything in Alaska is expensive so the $35 was reasonable. We were packed in at very long tables with very little room to move. Salmon was good, the rest was average. Lots of mosquitoes. Dessert was poor, prime rib was just ok.

This place is a little pricy but it is all you can eat, so come hungry. The crab legs are extra but worth it. Our grandson ate 4 pounds and enjoyed it very much. The grilled salmon, prime rib, and sides were great. Again come hungry. A must when in Fairbanks.

My wife and I had dinner at the Alaska Salmon Bake one evening during our 4-night stay at the Princess Lodge in July 2016. The salmon bake is definitely geared to the tourist trade at the price they charge. The price probably deters locals from visiting frequently. The salmon and halibut are cooked over an open fire, the cod is... More

The $35 cost was over priced. You also have to walk from shed to shed to get your food. It was raining so it was inconvenient getting your food wet. Food was just ok. I wouldn't go back.

My wife and I visited during our 3 night stay in Fairbanks on our escorted 'Natural Wonders of Alaska' tour with Titan Travel. The Alaska Salmon Bake is located within Pioneer Park, a large 44 acre park on the banks of the Chena River. We booked the Salmon Bake together with the 'Golden Heart Revue' show at the Palace Theatre... More

Well worth the money, this place can feed an army. While it may "appear" to be pricey, it is well worth the entrance fee to get in, and eat all you can...within a healthy limit. Salmon, Prime Rib, Crab, Halibut, salads, beans, potatoes, desserts, drinks......it is a FUN atmosphere...and a great place for couples of the entire family.
