The décor sets the tone of being in a Tuscan Village, The food authentic. We went in at lunch time and had a wonderful meal. friendly and efficient staff and convenient location.

Friendly and attentive service, although we had to wait for 15 min, before we were shown to our table. The ambiance had some nice italian touches but definitely needs some renovating, since partly the wallpaper is off. The cooking was average the most, the prosciutto pizza had far too much cheese and hardly any ham- which was too dry. The... More

Authentic Italian food (I had pizza, no fish!). Excellent. and great wine selection too! Service is very European, and it worked! The owner is a dear. Do it.

Came here and got the world famous lasagna and I now see why it's called the world famous lasagna... It's heaven on a plate! My friend got the Siena pizza which was equally as good! Delicious thin crust! What really sealed the deal was the dinner salads were made with fresh romaine and baby greens! Will be back!!

The food was fantastic and the wait wasn't a problem at all. We let our server know that we were short on time and she recommended some quicker dishes. As far as service goes they did great. Alaska and especially Fairbanks isn't known for quick and speedy service. We live in Alaska for a slower pace of life. Our servers... More

We enjoyed the river view, the sandwich (Reuben) and the proseco at lunch. Wonderful place for a short break in Fairbanks. There is not much going on downtown but we ended up happy and satisfied

Granted, this is not Rome, although the building reminded me a bit of a restaurant we ate in while in Rome. But the food is good basic Italian. DH had a pasta with sausage that was very good, and he said it tasted like homemade sausage. I had a pasta with a cream based sauce that was a little "grainy",... More

Service was awful and food only fair. We were seated upstairs where waiters had to go down stairs for the food and drinks. We waited a long time.

This is the review of two visits. One a late afternoon where they accommodated us with an antipasti normally only on the dinner menu. It was a perfect balance of meats, cheeses, vegetables, all in abundance with a well balanced vinegarette. Freshly baked Italian bread, modestly priced house wines, and I thought it could not get better. Then the owner... More

We had a trainee wait person who kept apologizing for her incompetence. It didn't appear that she was receiving any guidance to speak of from a more experienced staff member. Once we finally got food, it was pretty good.
