We are not big water people, but did really enjoy this stern wheeler ride on July 4th. Wonderful stop to see sled dog demonstration and the old village available to walk through was very interesting. All ages would enjoy this activity.

Lame & canned tour. My family was bored. We would have walked out but were hostage once the boat left. This was a very predictable experience which may be great I suppose if you have no actual contact with real humans. The tour guide read from a script that included fake spontaneous quips between him and the places they stopped... More

Part of their past culture, you'll want to check out the various Sternwheel boats in the area, You can also learn about the meaning of Tanana.

We were married. Aboard this wonderful stern wheeler some years back.We always make it a point to ride it every time we are in Fairbanks. Food is good and staff very pleasant. You will never forget this wonderful trip down the Chena River! !

This is one of the best tourist activities that I have experienced - and I have travelled widely. This sternwheeler takes you down river and back again with an outstanding commentary. On the way, you are introduced to many Alaskan activities including a float plane landing and taking off in front of the and time at an Alaskan native village.... More

It was a wish come true to travel on an old sternwheeler. It was alovely warm day and there was plenty of room for all on this boat. We cruised calmly along the river and had a very informative captain giving us all the facts and figures of this journ ey. We were supplied with drinks and snacks and various... More

This was a day trip on the Sternwheeler. although it was busy there was plenty of room and the service worked like clockwork. The commentary was very interesting and the visit to a working township museum was particularly interesting. Well worth attraction

Plenty of food provided in large containers . Regularly replenished dishes when empty. Stew hot and filling. No choices with menu. Dessert very small. Staff helpful and friendly. Tables full with limited room and all over quickly.

Informative bit about history of the Paddle-wheeler, I like learning the history of things. I was nice again to be able to get pictures, and whatnot by the boat, as I did on my first visit. I had no idea of the history behind the boat very cool
