My wife and I recently visited Bagels & Brew with friends while in Fairbanks prior to a cruise tour. This place was a great find. The food was great and the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
This establishment is eat-in or take away and does a booming business. You can order your sandwich on a variety of fresh bagels or maybe other bread. I had an Italian style sandwich with salami, other meats, pesto, vinegrette and other stuff - very tasty....More health conscious people in our party ordered a simple breakfast bagel or a vegetarian sandwich. They said the coffee was really good. There's also self serve ice water on a table for you. This is also a good place to order take away and then go have a picnic.More
So once upon a time, if I went to the Golden Heart City, I ate breakfast at a place that has cookie in the title, then last visit, I was meh. I have had a few other breakfast around town and no lasting love. So...I convinced my daughter lets try here. First of all it is the only time in my life where I encountered fresh warm bagels, plus. I had the breakfast bagel mad with the everything bagel or the works, bestsellers ti have had ever seriously. Then we bought some extra's to go but ate a few at the table, also very, very good. Good selection of coffee I might add, drip and espresso. This is my new go to for morning earth when in Fairbanks.More
If you want an authentic bagel, go elsewhere. Their bagels are basically donut-shaped pieces of bread. To be fair, we purchased a few just in case their was a bad batch of one of the flavors we chose. However, it didn't matter, we could have...purchased twice as many and they all would have been the same. They were dry on the inside and lacked that authentic crispy outer bagel shell. In addition, the person who waited on us gave us the impression that we were more of a nuisance than customers. If you're looking for quality bagels, go elsewhere.More
