It's been some time since we've been here. We recently stopped by to supplement some shrimp we had bought from the market. We picked up some stuffed grap leaves, a chick pea salad and cucumber salad. The grape leaves and chick pea salad were very good. the cucumber salad was a little salty. Smyrna is located just outside the city... More

We had heard of the Turkish-Greek restaurant/grocery store and wanted to try it. Well, there has been some changes. Change of ownership to begin with. A charming Moroccan couple now run Smyrna. The food has Moroccan additions to it and there are special Saturday offerings from the new owners country of origin. We tasted four appetizers, the hummus and babaghnoush... More

Small, family-owned and operated cafe that fixes whatever you order fresh! Very friendly and helpful owner and his wife took my order and chatted. You felt like you were at home in this warm and cozy restaurant. Since this was my first visit, the owner brought me complimentary green tea with mint that was wonderful. When I asked about different... More

I love Mediterranean food, saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It was great! Very helpful employee - talked about a lot of the dishes to help me choose. I ended up with a chicken souvlaki salad, and just loved it. The ingredients were very fresh, the chicken tasty and tender, and I especially liked the pita... More

The restaurant is run by a new owner, a family who is talented and welcoming. The little tables and sitting area made this feel as though we were guests in their home. The waiter, (son), was able to accommodate our requests and served the delicious food quickly. The owners stopped by our table to say hello and answer our questions... More

What a gem of a restaurant! Easy to find (right across Route 3 from Ferry Farm, George Washington's boyhood home) but easy to miss (we've lived here 5 years and this was our first visit!). Very quaint, small dining room with large take out refrigerator cases by the cash register. Staff/owners were friendly and happy to explain the menu items... More

I stopped by Smyrna for lunch mid-way through a long 8-hour drive and it was even better than I expected from the reviews. Service was friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. They have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The restaurant is small, and they seem to do a quite a bit of take-out business, since... More

If you are looking for a taste of the Mediterranean, then this little hidden gem is worth the hunt. Located in a small strip mall across from Ferry Farm, George Washington's Boyhood Home, This restaurant has offerings that even if you've never had Mediterranean fare, you'll soon find yourself a fan!

Went here for lunch and was not disappointed. A real Mediterranean menu, I got the kofte platter and loved it. Good portions, delicious food, and reasonable prices. Will definitely come here again. The owner is very nice as well.
