This is definitely your classic diner. The waitress we had looked like she'd been there for 30 years and there were even photos of people (owners, family, etc.) on the walls. The food was dirt cheap but delicious (assuming you like diner food in the first place). The grilled cheese with ham was so good! The view from the diner... More

I highly recommend the Greek Moussaka served on Mondays. It is served with a full large salad consisting of plenty of tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peppers and lettuce served with Busy Bee's unique Italian dressing, a French roll with lots of butter on the side and a huge moussaka filled with savory chopped meat, eggplant and potatoes and topped with a... Stopped by for a quick breakfast before heading to NH. Busy place, limited seating. Good old fashioned diner food. Waitress was great. No complaints at all.

If you are looking for fancy this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a great breakfast and lunch with friendly local neighborhood atmosphere this is the place for you. It has old fashion counter and booth service. The omelettes are great and my son loves the hash. It is conveniently located at the MBTA's Saint... More

Had several meals here while on a trip to Boston and loved every one of them!!! Great old time diner feel... Friendly atmosphere! And the food was awesome!!! Loved the lamb... Loved the fried clams... Loved the hash and blueberry pancakes!!! Even the homemade tapioca was good! I plan on eating here every time I'm in Boston...

Being a classic diner and reading the good reviews of this place, we decided to give it a try. While the lunch was fine - both got burgers that were good - the milkshakes were not milkshakes, they were just milk. We got one chocolate and one vanilla, and they were so runny they literally could have been mistaken for... More

Food was okay but not a place I would run to in a hurry. My cousin liked the soup they had. They have specials every day. The older waitress in there needs to pay attention. when taking simple orders. Wants to tell you what you ordered. How can you mess up something simple as a hot dog and regular soda.

My family stumbled upon the Busy Bee diner as we were walking in Brookline. We went in for dinner and are so glad that we did. The specials were very inexpensive (under $10 for an entree and generous sides) and very tasty. I ordered the chicken and stuffing, my husband ordered liver and onions and our daughter ordered French toast.... More

Wonderfully classic old school American diner . As a tourist it's an experience in itself . The food is cheap , plentiful and delicious with no pretension. The food comes out in the blink of an eye and you feel like you have had your little slice of history. Great value for locals and tourists alike.

What's most strikingly awesome about this place is the old fashioned style and "local" feel, but it's also just a great place to eat! The food is great and fairly priced, it makes for a great pick me up breakfast whenever you need it!
